I don't know if this makes FOX News smarter or dumber.

not if you go by the rule of mathetmatics. if you add a negative number to another negative number, you get an even lower negative number Fox must be trying to reach absolute zero on the intelligence scale

Unless you're taking the average rather than the sum...

-5 + (-3) = -8
vs.
[-5 + (-3)] / 2 = -4

Anyone see 60 Minutes last night? Hilarious. During the vice-presidential nominee debate, she asked Biden if she could call him "Joe", because during practice runs, she kept referring to him as Senator Obiden.

What a mess she is. The GOP would be well advised to pay her a ton of money just to keep her away from politics. I am sure they are cringing already at the thought of her on Fox News.

Pretty much the only good thing I can say about this is it's a good thing I never watch Fox news.

you know, there are occasional moments where I see or hear something (usually a comment on the CBC website, it's like a freakin' magnet for anti-intellectual bigots who are scared of the big bad immigrants who are gonna change our way of life) which gets me down off my patriotic pedestal just a teensy bit, but then I see something like this and it all just disappears.

She even said it after the practice runs.

I also liked how they said that they gave her stuff to study beforehand, but that she still couldn't explain why there are a North and a South Korea

Sarah does not understand big words like objective, one syllable words for Sarah.

What Sarah does know is that God placed his seed in her for little Trip, and that she is the chosen one....who knew that god is so weak that he can not get his chosen candidate elected as VP.

She still said it in the debate, as seen here:

The one person most happy about this has to be Jon Stewart.

That's one thing about The Daily Show I really don't like... it's almost like watching Fox News. Yeah, I know they're an easy target, but after a while it stops being funny and just becomes sad.

"Things that rhyme with Gretchen" wasn't funny? I don't care how many times they go after FOX, I find it hilarious.

I think FOX should be more Ben Stein - crazy but not an idiot. Does appealing to Jeb and Cleatus really draw all that much more in the ratings?

That shouldn't be a critique of the Daily Show.

Digg is going to become unusable for anyone interested in tech stories. Fox bashing stories multiplied by Palin bashing stories? They're going to shut down the tubes.

I thought that was a pretty clever trick. She (or her handlers at least) pulled out the folksiness right away by asking if she could call him Joe, and dodged (mostly) that O'Biden thing at the same time.

Maybe they were hoping they'd get real lucky and Biden would say "no, call me Senator Biden" and that would have been the story no matter what anyone said in the actual debate. It was win-win-win, and probably the smartest move they made in the whole thing.

I read/heard somewhere today that during the preparations for the debate, it came out that she didn't know why there is a North Korea and a South Korea. And that she believed Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11. This information was coming from Republicans.
