I'd like to join, but university parking is the pits. I expect you guys to pay more for parking than the registration fees when all is said and done.

I wish there were a 5 on 5 rec ball hockey league. All the ones I've seen are either 4 vs 4 or 3 vs 3.

Superleagues (Spring and Summer seasons) and GHL men's are both 5 on 5 ball hockey leagues.

What happened to GHL? It seems since the Currie Barracks closed down, they haven't been doing much, aside from a few pickup games at NSD.

Their Sunday mens is still 5 on 5 and they play at the Currie Barracks gym, not Legacy

They also have an ICE HOCKEY intramural league at the UofC. Games are played at David Bauer I think...

Negative. They're at the Oval. Played last semester with some buddies...it was alright. Couple games got a little dirty but it wasn't too bad. One thing that's kinda lame is that you have to wear a birdcage, no halfers allowed.

Actually, I forgot to mention how stupid the Oval is. That's gotta be the worst setup for dressing rooms ever! You've gotta walk half a mile in full gear down and then back up a set of stairs, getting crap on your skates from everyone's shoes...it's just so bloody aggravating.
