Reason #317 to hate the Olympics......Corporatism.

Not to be confused with Reason #182 (Greed) or Reason #215 (Stupidity).

The Olympics are pretty much a joke and nothing more than a business venture at this point. I feel REALLY bad for all the athletes who have struggled, trained hard, worked 3 jobs and sacrificed to reach the Oympics.....just so Pepsi can start up a wannabe chant and VISA can prevent the use of debit cards.

I heard at point in the game they had a Pepsi commercial saying the EH OH CANADA GO chant, then it cut to the game and we were chanting GO CANADA GO.

That is pretty funny.

There was mass resistance to the Pepsi chant in Saskatoon. I think it shows by how little it was actually used in the games.

Actually, Pepsi has nothing to do with the Olympics. Coca Coal is the red devil in that one.

Even the commercial looked staged. Quick cuts of people "chanting" it, what a load of crap.
