Disappointing first game back from the Stars. Spent too much time in the penalty box in the first 2 periods, and Detroit really controlled play and outshot us badly. When penalties weren't being taken in the 3rd, got 2 goals and got back into the game but couldn't get a tying goal.

Legace played great, 38 saves on 41 shots.

Rematch against Detroit after a day off.

The Preds got nothing going against the Flames tonight (x2 if the score holds for the NHLers!).

Anyone want to make a trade and take some of these bums off my hands!?!

EH OH CANADA GO NEWS

4 points out, that's what GM Penney is preaching after today's win. "Only 4 points out of a playoff spot after our big win tonight, we fully expect to make a big push and make the playoffs" said Penney.

GM Penney and his Jackets came up with a big win over the Devils tonight, seeing some big performances. "Kane was held pointless in his final game as a Jacket so that is good to see. We want to see the new guys step in and contribute to our playoff push".

The Penalty kill stats took a hit tonight giving up 4 goals. The Lightning also lost Captain Rob Blake for 5 games for an attempt to injure suspension.

The Habs have a big night back as we outshoot the Canes' 49-22. The 3rd line has really been playing well since we acquired Morrow; Kelly and Morrow both had 3 pts in a solid outing and the PP went 40%.

Senators get the shutout vs the Rival Leafs.... no injuries... overall great game for us.

The Flames get 3 point games from both Spezza and Kunitz while Tkachuk scored a pair of goals. Eric Cole seems to be fitting in nicely with a goal and an assist. Cam Ward wasn't great but he got the job done.

After the game the Flames sent James Wisniewski to the Flyers for Ruslan Fedotenko.

Hurricanes get schooled by the Canadiens, the 'Canes have sent a request to the league that the next time we face the Canadiens that the CPHL allows for two pucks to be used during play.

a 6-3 score truly doesn't reflect on how lopsided this game reads
