Ugh. I hate when people 'find faith' and 'repair their lives'. Nothing is more artificial.

It's too bad you think that way. Personally that's what happened to me and it hasn't been artificial at all. Nothing has been more real to me, and it's affected absolutely every aspect of my life and how I live it..
Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you're ready to listen to God and do things His way, and one could certainly say Tiger has hit rock bottom.
However, if Tiger changes religions just to try and get sponsors and fan support back and make people think he's "changed" then yes it'll be artificial and it won't make a difference in how he lives his life.
Also I think it's a poor move by Brit Hume to suggest this publicly. It just seems really hypocritical to say when there's a lot of so-called "Christians" who lead a similar lifestyle to Tiger, and there's a lot of Buddhists who don't make the poor decisions that Tiger did.
I'm not saying Tiger doesn't need to find God. I'm saying that to say it publicly like that, comes across wrong on so many levels.

People in the west that call themselves Buddhists and live in 25 million dollar homes and life his lifestyle are true believers of that faith.
I can't wait till its no longer 'cool' to be a Buddhist.

It may become less 'cool' but I don't think we'll be seeing anything but further spread of Buddhism in the near future.

I guess this can get a little weirder. Brit Hume on Fox News...
I don't know if it would be a masterstroke of PR if he pulled that stunt, or if it would backfire and even the suckerest of suckers would see through it.
Give it a shot Tiger!

Just like on 30 Rock, when Tracy Jordan wants to become Irish Catholic because, according to Jack's brother, "you can do anything, anything, and as long as you go to confession, it's forgiven."

I do not understand what Tiger needs to "repair" in his life.
Tiger is an " Alpha Male" because of his money and social status.
As such he gets his pick of females to mate with.
Elin Nordegrin married Tiger and mated with him for these reasons.
If Tiger Woods had no money and was living at a homeless shelter Elin et al would never have anything to do with him!
His only misstep was getting married in the first place. He should have followed the example of Gene Simmons and not married.

If Elin hit Tiger in the face with a golf club.....shouldn't the woman be charged with assault or domestic abuse? Last time I heard, that shat was still illegal.

By that times he had already slept with thousands of women and got it out of his system. Tiger should have done the same, or found a wife that would let him have a certain number of free nights.

I think Gene likes to brag.
Q: Some people believe your relationship with Gene is an open one....
Tweed: "Open" has never been a word I've described my relationship as. And he has never described our relationship as "open," nor has it ever been "open." He does not have sex with anyone else while we are together. It's a sore spot for me that people think that. Anything that you've ever seen... happened before 1983.

That's not true, they actually completely deny it, and for what it's worth, Gene did a lie detector test to see if he had ever slept with other women since living with Tweed, and all results showed he had not.

How do you know when you got it out of your system?
Warren Beatty's biographer calculates the movie star may have been with 12,000 women.

Tiger might also be gay?
Quote:
One of Tiger’s many mistresses, Loredana Jolie Ferriolo, is penning a tell-all and claims that she witnessed him in gay encounters.
Loredana has claimed she saw Tiger having sexual relationships with other men. That shocking twist is something no other mistress has claimed and there has been no proof.
Loredana says she is planning to spill all about how she and Tiger “came about, his healthy appetite for arranged sex, threesomes, girls next door, girl-girl, and an answer to all the rumors surrounding Woods’ sexuality.”
