I don't think it's a matter of 'word'. Those are pictures of Palestinian actors followed by Indian actors followed by Iranian actors. They are factually of that origin.

Here's a couple seperate incidents involving racism at clubs in calgary

Kang, along with friends Glenda Sanchez, Bosco Fung and three others, were turned away from the Palace nightclub on the evening of May 26. The group, all of Asian descent, were attempting to join a friend's farewell party. Kang, Sanchez and Fung described how bouncers insisted on five specific pieces of identification, including a driver's license, passport, prison ID card, army certificate and a visitor's visa card.
Manpreet Dhami just wanted a drink with his friends when they visited Bourbon Street Calgary, also on May 26. When Dhami and his two Caucasian friends reached the front of the line his friends were admitted.However, Dhami said he was told the club would not permit East Indians. Bewildered and disturbed, Dhami and his friends left.

While we as a society, I believe are getting more tolerant as a whole towards, racism is not dead, and will not die anytime soon. Just my two cents.

well i'm quite a bit different there. when a cab driver does something stupid (which is often) i'll just yell "Stupid cabbie!", because i think they are all idiots regardless of skin color. also when i know i'm going to be making a jackass move on the road like cutting in front of someone, i always look for the nearest cab to do it in front of so then i feel no guilt

I don't think Calgary's a racist city. A little behind the times, but not racist. That would imply some pretty severe racial tension. I grew up in Calgary (as a minority) and met lots of wonderful people of many different backgrounds, had a relatively safe upbringing.
I do think there is a very small amount of highly conservative Albertans who don't like the fact that their world is changing and they like to blame their life problems on immigrants.
Calgary is going to continue to grow and become more multicultural and all the morons who are scared of that pretty much have no say in the matter anyways. Cowboys Nightclub included. They will either have to adapt or they will be out of business as more and more of Calgary's society becomes "non-white", for lack of a better term.

Indeed, it was a minor incident,
but these little incidents dont do anything for Calgary in it's recovering stage of being a racist city.
and yes, I do believe Calgary was known as a racist city when that global story became wide spread on youtube in 2004 and 2006

I didn't grow up only in Calgary, but I think that gave me the necessary perspective. Even in the 90's as just a kid, I saw and felt much more racism in London and some of the middle eastern and Asian countries my parents took jobs in (to save tax free dollars...) than I ever did in Calgary. Certainly this decade the same has applied. I think the debate comes down to whether or not you are referring to Canada or the world in general. Even compared to most European countries and much of the United States Calgary is far from a racist city (I think so, anyway), compared to much of the rest of Canada it is comparatively a bit racist, but not significantly so and I don't think unpleasantly so. I'd say there's more sentiment against recent immigrants who don't seem to wish to integrate than there is against people of other races.
Yet everyone around me seems to think Calgary is racist. I sometimes feel like they're talking down to me, suggesting I'm blind to the bigotry surrounding me. Meh. I don't think I'm ignorant. If I am, then I guess it is bliss.
I'd sure as hell rather live here than most other places around.

IIRC, to his credit, Ralph Klein, who was premier at the time, called out the profiler bouncers.

Internationally, yeah, I dont think Calgary even comes close to the racism around the world
But I guess Im speaking in comparison to the rest of Canada, Calgary sits near the bottom of major cities in Canada
