They were lucky to beat Buffalo both times and could've easily lost to Carolina and Baltimore.

Even with that, as a Colts fan I think they are the 2nd toughest team in the AFC that i'd want to play.

San Diego
New England
Baltimore
Cincinnati

Those are the 4 in order that I think would be toughest for Indy.

New England @ San Diego in round 2 would be nice (well 6 beating 3 would be nice but I don't see it unless Baltimore finishes 6th).

I still think Pittsburgh if they have Polamalu at any semblance of health can threaten the Colts.

But I have to agree with Moon in that the Patriots can look great one game, maybe 2, but so far this year can't put three good ones together.

Really you can punch the Colts ticket to the AFC Championship game, they'll be up against Cinci, Denver, or Baltimore in their playoff game with a bye and they'll crush any of those teams. They just hope Pittsburgh doesn't luck out and get the 6 seed.

Yeah Pittsburgh would be #3 if they manage to get in. I just don't think they will due to tiebreakers.

Jake Long? Really? I'm a huge Dolphins fan, but Pro Bowlers don't get pancaked for half a season before getting their act together.

LOL Jake Long has been awesome ever since game 3. His worst game was the first one of the season. You obviously don't watch as much dolphins football as I do. He is one of the best left tackles in the league.

Do you think there was some Dolphins games a huge dolphin fan did not hear about?

Wasn't it McKinnie who got absolutely embarrassed Sunday night by Peppers? Not to say he doe not deserve to go to the Pro Bowl as I don't watch enough Viking games, but man he was manhandled that night.

Colts are going to play the Jets game this Sunday like they have the first 14 (They are not resting starters).

http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=ar...1-ff047d9e39a7

Another good piece of news is that Anthony Gonzalez has a chance at playing this week after being hurt in week 1. It will give the offense some chemistry before going into the playoffs.

I can't say I understand your question completely but from reading alot of your posts in the past on this board, you do tend to have some wierd posts.

The dolphins have one of the best o-lines in the league and Jake Long is the main reason. There is a reason why he was the #1 pick overall.

He is the only dolphin that deserves to be in the probowl, maybe dan carpenter would be another if you want to talk kickers.

Thats great news on both fronts! It's obvious to me that Peyton wants to play these last two games full out and as much as he seems to respect Caldwell if Peyton wants to play he's gonna play.

Gonzalez coming back in any shape or form could help this offence a ton. As much as Collie and Garcon have had strong seasons, Gonzalez has much better hands then the both of them. This Colts offence could get even scarier!

Being able to throw out 5 WR Packages with Garcon Wayne Collie Gonzalez Clark and then a healthy Donald Brown in the backfield splitting time with Addai.

Vick is questionable.

Found these playoff clinching scenarios on NFL.com

AFC

Ravens clinch playoff spot with a win + 1) JAC loss + losses by NYJ or DEN, or 2) losses by MIA, NYJ and DEN.

Broncos clinch a playoff spot with a win + losses by JAC, MIA, NYJ and PIT

Jacksonville: They no longer control their own destiny, but still very much in it with the best standing among the six 7-7 AFC teams.

Miami: Need to win out, but current .500 conference mark could end up dooming the Dolphins.

NY Jets: Hope is the Colts and Bengals have nothing to play for, then more hope that 9-7 is good enough. That's a lot of hoping.

Pittsburgh: Still hanging on, but barely. Best they can do is six conference wins, a mark that is sure to come up short in tiebreakers.

Tennessee: Titans need to win out just to have a shot ... a long shot with a best-case five conference wins.

Houston: Best they can do is nine wins ... likely not enough to get in, especially with a conference mark that in a win-out scenario would be .500.

NFC

Packers clinch a playoff spot with a win + loss by either NYG or DAL.

Cowboys clinch a playoff spot with a win + NYG loss.

NY Giants:Sweep of Cowboys gives them the edge over Dallas in tiebreakers. Did what they had to Monday night against the Redskins.

Just to add:

AFC -

San Diego clinches first round by with a win + a New England loss or tie.

NFC -

Eagles clinch NFC East with a win + a Dallas loss or tie.

Minnesota clinch first-round by with a win + a Philadelphia loss or tie.

This isn't all that crazy. If the Broncos can find a way to get by Philly (tall order) I could certainly see those 4 teams losing, though I think Miami will win.

It is the 37th Anniversary of the Immaculate Reception. Can anybody here remember where they were when this happened? I can't, because I was only 7 weeks old.

I don't think it's that tall of an order. Kyle Orton always seems to bring his "A" game when he plays the Eagles. I also don't like the Scheffler vs. "whoever is playing MLB for the Eagles this week" match-up.

EDIT: Dumervil vs. Jason Peters scares me too.
