U.S. foreign policy seems to think that is okay. It really shows in the disparity between aid money/military help handed out to the Israeli's and the Palestinians..

Dude, I hate to say it, but this post demonstrates how naive you are to the situation. The Palestinians are trying to survive... they have more than one deadly terrorist organization trying to control them - Hamas, Hezbollah and a few others. Their biggest worry are these organizations. For every rocket these fools launch wildly at Israel innocent Palestinians wait for the Israeli response. Israel waited over a year while thousands of rockets were launched and basically begged the world to witness what was happening. No one cared until Israel invaded the Gaza strip. Then Israel of course was held to a standard no other country is held to. Several thousand Palestinians were killed in the operation whose single goal was to wipe out Hamas, as the terrorists were hiding among the innocent. Israel did not win that war because Hamas still exists, and Hamas won the war because Israel once again looked like a villain for killing innocent Palestinians. How many Afghans has the Canadian military killed? How many have other allies killed in Iraq or Afghanistan? Of course you won't know this, but you certainly know about Israel. Why is this? Why do you only bash Israel? Launching rockets at a nation that has a military is bad news. If anyone did this to Canada or the US there would be bombers flattening towns WW2 style. Yet Israel does not do this, yet you still accuse Israel of wanting them all dead? How blatantly biased.

Your claim that Israeli's want them all dead is pure hate talk. Why don't you link some of the websites that support this claim? The last time one of the Israel bashers linked some websites it was a disaster for them. From what I recall, the majority of Israelis are willing to give up what it takes for peace. The problem is they do not have a trading partner. Israel could give everything, yet there would still be rockets. This is the problem.

Within Israel itself many religions live happily with full freedoms just like Canada. Israel simply wants peace but they are surrounded by some of the most violent countries in the world.

Any idea how many Palestinians are killed by other Arabs? Or do you only care if a Jew is involved?

Oh yeah, I thought I would add that I would prefer if Canada was an organ donor nation by default, rather then having to sign off on your willingness to donate.

You've obviously never been there. The vast majority of the land is dessert. The only reason they are able to grow anything is new water technologies.

Most of northern Israel and the West Bank are very fertile, which happens to be where all the Arabs live. The Jews want that land, and the Arabs don't want to give it up. Trying to force the Arabs into less fertile areas like Jordan is actually pretty insulting.

Problem is humans can't be trusted, whether it being caveman tribes 100,000 years going uh-uh-uh and attacking another tribe over a belief or bin Laden sending suicide pilots to America it's the power of numbers and a strong voice (preacher) in a fvrked up violent species.

All religions have proved to have an "extreme" side over the years not for their (IMO stupid belief in God) but for the rallying of the masses.mostly (not all) these mass problems (wars) have begun because of religion.

For the human species to survive it will need to learn that violence upon each other must end.

What exactly is the problem with a Jewish state, half the size of southern Alberta? There's no oil. So they have some fertile land and nice beaches. Big deal.

Furthermore, you fail to note that there are actually Israeli Arabs too. I reckon their quality of life "under suppression from the Jews" is actually pretty good.

I'm definitely not against a Jewish state or Israel in general. I just hope for reasonable concessions so the Palestinians can have a legitimate state that isnt divided and includes a portion of Jerusalem as their capital. I don't hold any rediculous belief that theres some sort of conspiracy by Jews to control the world or the middle east. I understand they're trying to live peacefully but they also have obligations to give the Palestinians a nation to call their own. Groups like Hamas, Hezbollah ect have risen out of the vacuum of true sovereign power and are raising future generations to be more militant then their parents. Its concerning that if there isnt resolution soon, this will continue for our lifetimes and beyond. I also realize the Palestinians hold a fair amount of responsibility for failed peace talks in the past. They kept hoping for more and more and it came back to bite them. Personally I think the biggest tragedy that derailed peace talks happened when Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated. That period of time was potentially the best chance for peace in our lifetime.
