This kid isn't a trouble maker like Henry. He made a mistake and should be punished for it. But lets get something strait in the usa you're innocent until proven guilty. he was suspended one game and now he gets to play. woopie doo.
Get ready for your humanitarian bowl or whatever toilet bowl OU is going to.

Awwww Mr Sensitive eh? Cry Baby Tebow didnt make it to the Natl title game ? Got lit up by bama??
What does Chris Henry have to do with any of this ? I was simply pointing out a player ( who is one of their Def studs) who got arrested for drunk driving is being allowed to play in the BCS bowl game because Urb doesnt wanna lose . I wasnt trying to start a pissing match . But yeah we are in a mid tier bowl. We had an off year with injuries not to mention while you were playing High school teams at the beginning of the season we were playing top 25 programs. You played 2 all year( We played 2 Out of Conference without our 2 best players), barely got by LSU and then got obliterated by Bama. Congrats ! Welcome back down to earth , Ill be here next year when you guys are back in the middle of the pack in the SEC.

middle of the sec? nah they will win the east again.
I was pointing out Henry because he is a hood rat thug that never kept out of trouble and karma caught up with him.
I'm not sensitive about it at all.
But hey I guess we can blame it on injuries too.... Debose, Jones, James, Tebow,
but I do like the fact that stoops is going AFTER a guy that was booted out of "thug U" in Florida.
No pissing match just stating the facts.

Completely tasteless and irrelevant.
Your pissing match with nicker is ridiculous in the first place, but this is totally uncalled for.

Some great coaching by Hauck in the last 3 minutes though. He really set his team up to have a chance to win by saving the time outs.
Too bad that Canadian kicker missed his FG and sucks at onsides kicks!

Coach Hauck is interviewing for the UNLV job tomorrow.
I have very little good to say about Bobby Hauck, and I think he'll stay in Missoula where he can be the big fish in a small pond.

I thought he played a bit of Marty Ball in the second half. That was disappointing.

really, I was just the only person to actually say it.
I feel bad for his family and him as a person that he just couldn't get his life turned around and it finally cost him his own life.
Sorry I offended you or anyone else.

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous.
There's only a handful of bowl games that aren't televised on TSN or The Score and one of them is always an early bowl match-up between 2 ranked teams on Dec. 22 or 23.
Last year it was Boise St/TCU. Now it's Oregon St/BYU. Pretty annoying stuff.
Tonight's game and Cal/Utah tomorrow are actually very important games for the future landscape of college football. Both Oregon St and Cal are upper echelon teams from one of the better conferences in college football in the last 5+ years. Convincing wins by BYU and Utah would go a long way in both adding to the credibility of the MWC's potential BCS automatic birth and towards mid-majors playing for the National Championship as well.

How about Mike Van Diest? The guy has done nothing but dominate at Carroll. 25 years is enough time away.

Van Deist would certainly be the fan favorite, I'm sure. He turned down the Bobcats, maybe he knew Hauck was looking elsewhere?
I'd be surprised if he leaves Carroll, myself.

Is Dave Dickenson ready?
He's a god in Montana, recruiting would be a piece of cake, and he would certainly be welcomed by the alumni.
Dennis Washington is the only one that really matters.
Depending on who stays with the team as assistants, I could see it work.

I'm on my way to new orleans. Going to the sugar bowl..
My tickets should be here Thursday. My mom got ahold of some of her alumni friends and a professor called me today and is shipping them out. I'm gonna be 23 rows up from the field.

Quite the beatdown by BYU on Oregon State.
Oregon St probably didn't want to be there after being mere minutes away from the Rose Bowl, but that's still an impressive win by BYU.
It'll be interesting to see if Utah can do the same to Cal later tonight.
