Great game in Wichita.

WSU was up on #16 Texas Tech 35-21 at halftime. Tech is making a run. 5 point game with just over 11 minutes to go.

53-53 with 7:18 to go. Great run by Tech but the Shockers aren't folding at all. Going to be a great finish.

Shockers on a 9-0 run. Up by 5 again, with less than 4:00 to go.

Wichita State - 85
# 16 Texas Tech - 83

What a game! Inside of two minutes WSU had the lead back out to 9. Tech traded prayers for free throws (WSU was 26/31 from the line) and got it to within 2 with 1 second to go. It was unbelievable what was going in for them.

Gregg Marshall is an outstanding coach. I was pretty sad to see Mark Turgeon leave for Texas A&M, but I think Marshall is clearly a better coach. How long will he stay?

Good night for the Valley as Creighton is leading ranked and undefeated New Mexico at The Pit.

Wichita State is going to make some noise in March.

Forgot to mention, Tech's point guard, John Roberson, is a stud. What a player.

Wichita State 40th in the AP poll.

Can't wait for Valley play to get going.

That's right about KU. I don't know about UCLA. Just glad UK beat UNC to 2000. Great win for the Cats!

Mike Montgomery's Cal Bears are hanging tough with KU in Lawrence. 38-34 late in the half for the Jayhawks.

What a pleasure it is to listen to Bob Knight do color for a college basketball game. So much knowledge.
