I signed up for Koodo in August and got the
MOTO VE465. Koodo charges $200 for the phone ($150 goes on the tab and $50 you pay). Due to a change in job, I really have been wanting a smart phone and the wife has informed me that she is getting me a BB for Christmas. I also have a hard acrylic case for it. This is an awesome phone for someone who just wants a phone without all the fancy options. The battery lasts longer than a week for me. If I didn't need a smart phone, I would love to keep it.
I am looking for someone to take over my Koodo tab, which has $130 left on it. Anyone who wants to take over the tab, I will cover the $25 transfer fee and throw in another $25 for you, so I will pay you $50 bucks to take my phone. The current plan on it is $37 a month for 100 mins, unlimited incoming calls, call display etc, but that can be changed as fairly easily through the Koodo website.
Alternately, once I have paid off the tab, if there is someone who is looking for a replacement phone for their Koodo plan, I will sell it for $50. I have called and talked to Koodo about this and you can activate the phone onto your existing account for free online, and for a fee if you need to call in. You could also just sign up for a new account with no tab, and put this phone on it. No contract (or tab) with a nearly new phone for $50.
Anyway, Christmas Day I am getting my new phone, so if anyone is interested in taking over the tab and getting $50 cash from me, I need to know before then because porting my number over to the BB will cancel the plan. After that, the only option is buying the phone outright and adding it to your account.
