This is OT, but when will people realize Saddledome beer is the same Molson as you get from a can. The difference is each cup at the Saddledome has about 500ml as opposed to 355ml in a can.
Toss back a couple of those during the pregame skate and it shouldn't require Bill Nye to figure out why you can't stand for the National Anthem.

It. Is. Different.
It could be dirty lines, nitrogen, rat-killing poison added to the beer, altitude, walking the stairs, fumes in the parking lot, the ghost of Ed Whalen, allergies to Harvey or just the atmosphere of the Saddledome, but there is something different about drinking the beer in that building.
I drink a lot of beer and nothing hits me like the swill in that place. It is special. Don't try to trick me with your maths.
There was something special about the nacho cheese in 1989, but that's for someone else to speak to.

Yes, and I like it; very smooth vodka. I prefer it to Grey Goose, and others in that price range, especially if drinking in a classic martini or mixed with only water/ice.
If mixing with coke, cran, soda etc. all vodka tastes the same to me, and I'm happy with Smirnoff.

Bundaberg Rum. Well and truly the worst rum I have ever sampled. It's gonna take a while to flog that off on unsuspecting guests.

Sometimes you can find it sold over-the-counter at European delis. To me, it tastes exactly like bile, you know, the black stuff you throw up when you have the dry heaves.

Tried that at a friend's place. It's pretty good. Bitter, but not much after taste.

Pisco is a spirit made from grapes, and tastes a bit like tequila. The Chilean national drink is the pisco sour, which tastes a bit like a margarita.

Yeah we had a bottle last year. You've gotta drink it right (i.e. with sugar and ice water) or it's pretty awful. Really high test. Depending on how prone you are to it, and the frame of mind you're in beforehand, you might hallucinate a bit. The first time we did it, my roommate thought he was a polar bear, and crawled on his hands and knees back from the Den to rez. I didn't have anything happen that time, but we did it another night, and I got freaked out and had to leave the bar cause I was very paranoid.
However, I dunno how much of the hallucination thing has to do with what's in it, or if it's just the alcohol content. I can tell you that some of the stuff you can get in Europe most definitely will make you see stuff that isn't there, but I think the bottles you can get in North America contain a great deal less of whatever it is that makes you hallucinate.

Jesus! I can agree with this, my Aussie friend bought me a bottle of this for my 30th birthday (two years ago) and I am still only half way done the bottle... I swear it has gasoline in it, you can mix one shot with a one litre bottle of Coke and still not be able to handle the taste... I ONLY drink it after I am hammered and I can still barely get it down, so yes I have now lowered to offering it to house guests who are out of booze...
This is the beer equivalent to TNT
