Their schedule has been their biggest adversity. Look at their losses.
v NYG -- NYG was in the midst of their 5-game winning streak
@ Denver --Denver was on their 6-game winning streak
@ Green Bay -- Green Bay was on their 5-game winning streak
@ NYG. Ok, NYG was sucking, but it was a desperate Giants team.
v San Diego -- San Diego was on a 8-game winning stream.
The team keeps facing off teams that are playing really good football. Hah -- and now they face against the unbeaten New Orleans Saints.

I can't see a team that struggled against the Kansas City Chiefs being any good.

Vinny Ceratto has resigned. Things that make you go "Hmmmm"!

Skins VP of football ops Vinny Cerrato has resigned according to sources.
Wonder who they will hire to replace him, Shanahan, Holmgren, a stop gap to wait for Gruden?

Ya all this "December" talk about them is a little overblown I think, as alot of it has to do with just having a terrible sked this last month. Of course you've still got to win at least a couple of those games to prove you even deserve to be in the play-offs, but a sked like that doesn't help matters. I hate the Cowboys as much as the next guy, but I wonder how much they'd be struggling if they had a more average December sked instead of taking on the New Orleans' and San Diego's of the league.

I can't see any of the big names wanting to put up with Snyder. Although money talks, Snyder could make them an offer they can't refuse.

Looks like Snyder may finally be pulling his head out of his arse if he'll let Bruce Allen run his team. A lot of speculation that Mike Shanahan is a guy that Allen will target as his head coach. Allen last worked with Gruden in Oakland and Tampa, but it sounds like Gruden wants to do at least one more year with ESPN.

Yeah...Allen is good football guy and certainly has the pedigree to tell Snyder what is what and how to run a team properly.
I think Shanahan will be his guy to coach.

Yeah, the key is that he's dealt with a meddlesome owner before in Al Davis. Perhaps his biggest asset won't be the moves he makes, but the ones he can talk his owner out of making.

I think Shanahan wants both jobs.
He'll take a job with another franchise if he can have complete control of personel.

Which means you can pretty much eliminate him from the Cowboys job. Unless JJ comes to his senses.

Doesn't surprise me. I've heard stories about what a crazy control freak he is. I remember a few years ago reading about how he allegedly found an area where he was able to secretly listen in on private, player only meetings. Doesn't mean I wouldn't take him in two seconds if I was one of those franchises though. Of all the available big name coaches, he'd be at the top of my wishlist.

Good lord, this play-by-play guy is terrible. I don't think he knows that not everyone on the Jags is named Jones-Drew.

No kidding. You'd think the NFL Network of all networks would hire a big name.
Matt Millen's a good analyst though. He should have never ever left the booth for that hopeless GM's job.

Bob Papa is a big name, if you're from New York. He's the Giants radio Play by play guy. But given how much homerism goes on in local radio broadcasts in the NFL, it's a bit odd to give a National broadcast gig to one of those guys.
I think the Ford family also agrees with you about Millen. They probably wish he stayed broadcasting too instead of applying for the job with their team.

Looks like Colts remain undefeated. I think they will pull it off now.
