That's kind of sugarcoating it, isn't it? If the stories are true, he's been arranging payment for women to have sex with him.
The strange thing is that he was so cavalier about it. I mean talk about leaving a paper trail. If I wanted to cheat on my wife I'd be a little more careful about it than he has been, and my picture has never been in the paper.

Tiger Woods will likely not be in any way linked to anything this doctor has done, but it still interesting, nonetheless, considering all that's been revealed about Tiger recently:
Quote:
A Canadian doctor who has treated many NFL players as well as Olympic medallists like Donovan Bailey and the world's top golfer, Tiger Woods, is under criminal investigation in the United States. He is suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs, according to several people who have been briefed on the investigation.
...
U.S. federal investigators are basing their investigation, in part, on medical information found on Galea's laptop relating to several pro athletes he treated, according to the people who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to be identified discussing an ongoing investigation.

Anyone see MMA Connected yesterday? Dana White had on a T-W hat after the ppv... I guess he still supports tiger!
I thought I had read an article somewhere before that Tiger was for drug testing golfers, I doubt he'd be on them, but knowing the way this has all unfolded it wouldn't surprise me!

I don't get what this "supporting Tiger" thing is about. What is there to support? He cheated on his wife with a bajillion hookers and paid money for them. Are people supporting cheating and paying for hookers?
Seriously, what is there to support? How about Dana White wears a hat with Tiger's wife and kids on it. Maybe then he wouldn't keep making himself look like such a knob.

Everybody knows that if you are really, really famous and really. really good at what you do, you get a free pass on most sleezy, disgusting, or illegal misbehavior (cheating on your wife, cheating on your family, molesting kids (ie. MJ), heavy drug abuse (ie. LT), cheating in sports (ie. too many examples to list). If you are rich and famous, different rules apply and you can get away with a lot more than the average Joe. People are always willing to make excuses and look the other way when we are talking about their heroes.

Problem for Tiger is that its a lot cheaper to pay for their mouths to be open than shut.

Do you suppose that Tiger is a member of www.ashleymadison.com ?

For those of you unfamiliar with The Ashley Madison Agency, where have you been?
I'm just teasing! It is a dating site that specifically caters to married people who are looking for a little sex on the side. You know, a midnight rendezvous, an extramarital roll in the hay, an affair…it's for cheaters!

White gave an interview about it, the gist was that he's sick of all the over the top TMZ style coverage. I can get where he's coming from on that, but I'm also positive that the motivation is purely a play at the target UFC demographic.
On a side note I think we've found the real victim in all of this. A-Rod. He breaks up with Kate Hudson and it doesn't even make the front page of Yahoo, what a crushing blow to his inflated ego.

I think what you are saying is that we, the common man/woman, create and legitimize "different rules" for the rich and famous, that these rules aren't a construct of the rich and famous themselves but a by-product of the excuses we make for them when we wouldn't do it for neighbour.

People are supporting him because we as humans are not perfect and deserve second chances. Sure what he did was wrong, but he can't change that, hopefully he and his family can move on.
Plus the coverage on this is just stupid. Every channel you turn to they are still talking about Tiger. He cheated on his wife and he gets more play than people that are murdering people, molesting children, etc. IMHO it is disgusting how this could turn into such a story.
