New Truck Battery: Advice Please

So I think it is that time. Any advice on the type to buy or where to get one other than wally world or crappy? I keep hearing about the Optima Yellow-Top but don't know anything about them. Anyone have one of them? Why is it worth the extra money?

So far all I know is that my truck has the posts reversed so I need to watch for that and I want to get as many cold cranking amps as I can afford. I would go up to about $150-175 if the extra money is worth it.

Optima's are worth $225ish. I had a red top, nice battery but probably not worth it for what I used it for. If you want to spend $150 just get a nice interstate.

...and since you don't have fog lights, you needn't worry about keeping those turned-off to preserve cold-cranking amps when you start your '08 truck in Sundance, right?

Phone them direct. They usual deliver or will tell you a nearby store that sells them.

Hevishort and burn should get a commission from interstate. Real nice guys, could have easily upsold me to an optima but I don't need it and he told me that. Saved me about $90. thanks all.
