It was. Check the boxscore. 1 sack 1 assist. Nothing else. He was a non-factor hence Orton's outstanding numbers.

Show me your lightning bolt! Let's go, Chargers! Keep stuffing that December record down Romo's throat.

Jim Nantz is my second-favourite announcer (behind Al Michaels). I hate how he's stuck with that opinionated windbag, Simms.

Easy to say after they pulled it out, but Payton should have had the clock under two minutes with a six point lead. Instead, two incompletions and a missed fake left Atlanta with over two minutes and two timeouts to tie it. Nice to see the defence step up in the end, when they were pretty soft all game. Brees was brilliant again, and that was Reggie Bush's best game of the season.

I really hope Caldwell decides not to have the Colts starters basically pack it in from now until the playoffs. This offence is all about rhythm and it showed in the second half. Stalled drive after stalled drive but the second they got that one first down, everything came back to them.
Dallas Clark is without doubt one of the best tight ends in football. Garcon needs a lot of work still, Gonzalez being absent from this team has actually hurt them even with the 16-0 record. Colts run game and run defence both impressed me today.

13-0 baby!
We're really missing our corners, Gay and Jenkins are great in the nickel and dime and still servicable filling in as a starter once in awhile. But to be the game in, game out starting duo the past few weeks is definitely a step down from Greer/Porter. Teams are starting to target those two, and getting good results out of it. Campbell and Redmen have looked like stars the past couple weeks against that secondary. I got faith, but I'd feel a whole lot better with those Greer/Porter in the mix going into the play-offs.
...at least we know they can rest for at least one round of the play-offs . WHO DAT!

That has been one of the biggest differences between this season and last. Payton's ridiculous high risk plays once every 2-3 games have been basically nonexistent.

Packers really played a pedestrian game today, but good enough to beat a really poor Chicago team. running game was the difference today, and its been a while since the Pack could claim that. Cutler now has more interceptions than any other QB on the bears in 63 years. Dude is just not very smart.
Anyway, 9-4 and sitting pretty good for the 1st WC spot, as the NFC east have to pummel one another a few more times and Dallas looks like they are going into their usual december gag job.

That was really the first major headscratcher that he has pulled this season. I guess he didn't have a whole lot of respect for the Falcons offence. I know Payton comes off like he's not afraid to fail, but man if they lose that game, he'd be second guessed forever.
As to the corner situation, I think they are playing as well as expected, but they need the D line to play much better than they did today.

Moss was getting booed today, he looked like he did with the Raiders, just out for a stroll. He can be a real Kovalev type player sometimes. So much talent, so little commitment.
Brady is a beast, playing through pain again. Not his best game, but damn...wish he had more guys like Welker to pass to.

More people need to start mentioning Philip Rivers when talking about the MVP race. The Chargers are a sub-500 team without him.

So is VY injured??? I assume its his knee? Collins is taking snaps.
edit: Looks like he pulled a hammy on a 44 yd run return questionable. I assume they'll leave him out since its St. Louis.

young was 6/8 for 132 yds to start things off. I suspect that they are just resting him from here on in unless things get dicey, as he was questionable as of this morning.

Nope. He pulled up lame on a long scramble. He was definitely in a lot of pain.

Yike. DeMarcus Ware down on the field and needing a cart. Bad news for the Cowboys. Hope he's okay.
EDIT: Saw the replay and it looks like a possible neck injury.

Ware looks to be OK...but it looked scary as all those compression of the head type injuries can be really bad news.
Chargers are no joke tho...have given up a couple long drives to a pretty good offense, but beyond that have played well on D and look like they can go with anyone offensively when they are on their game.

Their defense is pretty underrated when you consider all of the injuries they've had.
