I'm kind of surprised at how much debris was left behind from the Nissan, because the damage to your truck doesn't look too bad (but maybe it's worse in real life, just judging by the photos).

I wonder if maybe your truck wasn't the first thing the Nissan crashed into??

Zoom in on that last picture, I think I see a fingerprint.

Seriously, I hope you catch the jackass. I dont live anywhere near there, but if I see a banged up Armada/Titan, I'll let you know.

For once it'd be great of CP solved the crime instead of Beyond.ca. Our community should be big enough to do so.

Its pretty cold this week especially at nite. Those parts are all plastic so theyll get pretty brittle in the cold temperatures. Then if its hit at the right (wrong) angle and everything breaks or shatters without a need for a lot of speed at impact.

My bet is the guy was drunk. Its easier to deal with a hit and run on a parked car than a DUI if he had stuck around.

Now I need my wife to get home from work so I can wander the neighbourhood with a pitchfork and/or torch.

Nissan might be able to link the barcodes to the VIN number. I'm pretty sure they scan them to the vehicle at the assembly plant.

I drove around for a bit and only came across a black Titan that had no damage.

No luck with the cruise around the neighbourhood.

It is definitely a Nissan Titan as there was one parked on the road and the parts matched perfectly. Sadly, that truck was still in one piece. I knocked on a few doors to see if I could find the owner of that one but didn't have any luck. Sometimes people notice when their neighbours have the same vehicles as them.

I'm out of thanks, so "Thanks".

We probably saw the same one. I called Fishcreek Nissan but their body shop closes at 1pm. I'll call around again tomorrow.

I'm on the other end of town, but I'll keep an eye out on the auto claims front. Though the odds that it comes across my desk would be near zero
