What are your favourite Karaoke songs?
Calgarians love their karaoke, of that, there is no doubt. So lets hear it, what songs do you love to belt out? Have any good obscure songs?
Here are some of mine:
Lyin Eyes - The Eagles
Bed of Roses - Bon Jovi
Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley
Jolene - Dolly Parton
Turn the Page - Joe Cocker
Rocky Raccoon - The Beatles
We Didn't Start the Fire - Billy Joel
In Da Club - 50 Cent
Under Pressure - David Bowie and Queen

And if I'm drunk enough:

Oasis. probably because the singer isn't really that good so it's easy and I know the lyrics without having to read them. Knowing the lyrics allows me to close my eyes and throw in some annoying southern USA gospel singer rants.

in the trousers, she kissed me

If I ever went, which I don't, but if I did...
There's only two songs I'd do... which every white guy knows the lyrics to:
Baby Got Back - Sir Mix A Lot
Fresh Prince Theme - Will Smith

I only do Shatner-style spoken word karaoke. But in that context, Toto's Africa is awesome.

Pastiche, you obviously love karaoke... where do you go in Calgary to do it?
I did it Japan and it was so fun because you and your friend get your own room in which you control the songs. Do you know of anywhere in Calgary that does it this way?
