I love how within 2 weeks this guy's life has just totally shattered. Let's see...

Embarassing car accident leads to transgressions leads to INSANE transgressions leads to addictions...

wow... what's next? Next week we'll learn he was in with Vick on the animal game.

I am just going to say it now (cause I want to see it in print) -- Tiger is ######! His public persona makes me want to puke and it is starting to seem that his private persona is equally nauseating.

Nice goal Curtis!

Sounds like it was his wife's mother that took ill and his wife was the one following the ambulance to the hospital. The woman in hospital was taken there "on advanced life support"...so it sounds pretty serious for sure.

Hate to speculate on anything...but perhaps the stress of the last 2 weeks is starting to catch up with Tigers family.

The media builds people up so they can tear them down.
Nobody is squeaky-clean.

"You killed my mother!!!" should just about end any hope of a reconciliation . . . . . . not that it was looking good anyway after we passed four on our way to a baker's dozen.

I sincerely feel (no jokes) for the wife and kids in this. Tiger is apparently quite a self-centered ass.

OK...so now the report is that whoever it was taken to hospital has been released.

How does one go from requiring "advanced life support" at 2:30 in the morning...to being released 7 hours later??

The damn media....just irresponsible reporting all over the place on this stuff.

Depends on how you define it. Someone on the Fark thread suggested the difference between routine and advanced life support is the difference between being treated by EMTs and by paramedics.

Anyway, now that seems everybody is alright (relatively), I would just like to say that this story is so full of fail that it is swinging right around to win.

Who would have ever guessed that Tiger Woods would have a Jim Shergill-like meltdown?

When you have to be first, the details are secondary... Tiger clearly suffers from white trashatis (a fairly common affliction)... If he needed the wife and kids for marketing purposes why didn't he just pay for a marketing family (a la Michael Jackson)?

Not this guy . . . . .

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1259...p_mostpop_read

As noted before, Tiger is actually in the statistical norm . . . . . around 60% of husbands cheat on their wives (and 40% of wives on their husbands) in the course of a marriage. He may be above average in other things, including the size of his dong by all accounts, but not in this sense.

Is there such a thing as "excessive cheating" though? If there is, his misadventures kind of looks like it.

Yes, really - I could not have imagined that such a managed, artificial icon would come crashing down in John Dalyesque fashion. Unbelievable.

Well, my view of Tiger certainly has changed I guess.

Great golfer, but apparantly he's about as dumb as a bag full of stupid.

Apparently the number of women claiming an affair is now at 10.

Gotta wonder how many are true, and how many are just looking for a payday. It's not like Woods has any need to pay them some hush hush money to protect his reputation anymore.

I can see a movie here - Tiger's Asses. In fact, given that there are already at least 10 skanks, we already have Tiger's Assess I and II...
