Default Jack-All and modern cars

I have a Jack-All that I've owned for many years. I had to change a tire today in my garage on a Mazda 3 and there was no place I could place the Jack-All without risking damage to the plastic crap all around that car. I had to use the puny jack that comes with the car. It worked fine although I would have preferred to use the Jack-All. Anyone have this problem? Any advice on how to use a Jack-All on these modern cars with all this plastic?

Yes, simply sell it and use the money to buy a cheapo 25 dollar p.o.s. hydraulic jack from Mao-Mart and spend the rest of the money on some beer or Jager or Vodka or what ever kids are drinkin' these days and use the jack to jack up your plastic car.
If you need any help call me and I'll help you get rid of the liquor before your boyfriend/girlfriend/ husband or wife finds out you have it.

I'd rather go spend $35 dollars or so at Canadian Tire when they have the 2 ton Michelin jack and axle stand combo on sale. Fits under the car at where the pinch weld is and you can jack it up from there. Hasn't damaged anything on my Mazda 3 yet

Does it work well? The scissor jack was fine but it was slow and tedius. I thought the Jack-All was the king of jacks but it's useless with these modern cars. I looked on three cars and could not find any place to use it. One Mazda and two Toyotas and nothing.

Oh the jack works, I use it quite a few times on my Mazda... works well. This will not come close to the slowness that is the scissor jack. I jacked up my car enough in under a minute for me to swap tires.

What's this plastic crap around your car that you speak of?

Get a proper floor jack over the tippy Jack-All's....with jack stands of course for safety (ahem)

http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthr...highlight=jack

Then Google the locations of proper jack points and jack stand points for a Mazda 3. Like like this...

It's a good thing he remembered to put a block behind that tire.
