Maybe if he was a football/basketball player. Those women are about right for a golfer.

I've lost all respect for the guy. Any guy who would cheat on his wife is pond scum. Temptation happens to everyone not just the athletes. It's a cop out to say it's tough to be true when women are throwing themselves at you. Either you have strong morals or you don't.
The person I feel sorry for is Tigers wife and his kids. Trust was broken and i'm not sure it can be regained. If divorce happens I hope she takes him to the cleaners.

Good news for you then. According to the pre-nup Elin's out clause is worth a very nice $300 000 000.

There isn't one of us here that can possibly know the crazy temptations this guy must be faced with constantly. Morals is one thing but I think even the best of us might slip once in a while if in a similar situation.

At one time or another I was been propositioned by 4 married women in my former workplace. On all occasions I told them to get lost.

Excuse me?
You rather go around busting up marriages because you can't control your sexual urges?
My sister went through a nasty divorce because her ex couldn't keep it in his pants.

This is exactly it. There's no possible way anyone here can even fathom what kind of temptations these elite athletes have. Especially a guy like Tiger Woods, who arguably is the most famous person on the planet.

It was clearly a joke. I respect that you can control your urges and respect the sanctity of marriage.
However, comparing temptations that you face to what Tiger Woods probably faces on a daily basis just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. You're in a different world.

This story is truly hilarious. How much would you love to get a copy of the security tapes of his compound to get to watch him high tail it out of the house in his undies with wife brading a 7 iron raging after him. Awesome.

Well, if it wasn't going to be you, it would probably be someone else. If a married person wants to cheat, then they will until they find someone who goes through with it.... so, it might as well be you!
Of course, I am not totally serious... that it should be you, but I wouldn't put the fault on you for hurting the marriage.
I've been in a similar situation and when it came down to it, I just didn't think it would be worth the drama. It's not like it's that hard to get laid that any opportunity must be taken.

It wasn't a joke but an uncalled for insult.

What I find odd is how much evidence there is... it almost sounds like a shake down by either his lovers, wife, or all of them.

I'm sorry you took it that way, maybe intention wasn't portrayed very well through text. I assure you it wasn't meant as an insult.

People with strong morals can make mistakes. I could see how someone in his position could find themselves in a one-off situation where something unplanned, unwanted overall, and against their values and morals happens. In a situation like that, you have to learn from it, make amends, pick yourself up, and carry on. Hopefully the wiser and with a better understanding of yourself.
But if in fact he has been cheating and carrying on extra-marital relations far outside the realm of a one-night stand, and working diligently to keep these relationships intact, then there is something wrong deep down with him. The pure and simple devotion and commitment implied in marriage cuts right to the core of a person's make up - if you can't or won't uphold the single most profound commitment you can make to someone, there's really nothing else of substance to you. Like if you can't commit your whole self to a person exclusively, and stay true to your word and intent, how can anything else you ever say or do, at any level, be viewed with any credibility, honesty, or integrity?

I worked with a guy who played a few games with the pens back in '88. He had some interesting stories of the night life these guys have. He pretty much said they all did it. They'd go on the road, they're young, have lots of money, and hot women who are throwing themselves at them. A few drinks later, your judgement goes out the window and your cheating on your wife.
