That's a good thing to admit to on a public message board. I bet you would have been great bank robbers.

I was once in a bank while it was robbed.

I didn't notice a damned thing, and was saddened to learn that I'm not such a great witness.

I dont know, but all I am saying how do we know he wasnt leaving when the cop cars showed up instead of arriving?

This guy makes a regular habit of robbery. He always wears a mask when he does it.

I remember hearing a tale of a bank being robbed in Tribune,(Southeastern) Saskatchewan...During a blizzard...On Skidoos.
They got away, as their tracks were blown-in by the time the cops investigated IIRC .

I never heard if there were twelve of thirteen of them.

Don't feel too bad, bank robberies here certainly don't look like the one the Joker pulled off in The Dark Knight. A lot of times it's just some guy passing a note to the teller.

The grocery store that I worked at in high school in small town Ontario got robbed one Friday night in the middle of the dinner rush... it was all kind of surreal as he went from one cash to the next with a garbage bag and a gun with most people oblivious to what was going on. I was packing groceries at the last cash and the cashier started to freak out as she fumbled with the register... he was like... do you want to F***ing die? She's like.. no not particularly thank you.

Anyhow, he was disguised in a duct taped skidoo helmet.. he left the store and went to start his getaway vehicle which was an old skidoo and it wouldn't start... in the meantime, some guys from the restaurant/bar next door came out and beat the living snot out of him.. .funny thing was he just lived down the street and someone recognized him before he even left the store!

There's no money in robbing a bank - Liquor stores and if you are real brazen coffee shops is where the loot is!!! Amateurs!

I doubt a Pontiac Vibe is commonly used as a getaway car, especially after reading this thread. Sounds like ski-doos are more common.

The cop was basically just hanging out at my car, trying to look like he was more interested in my license plate than what was happening in the bank.

I was just about to close the doors on a particularly cold day when a person walks in with a ski mask on. My co-worker and I raise our hands. The guy tears off his mask "No! No! It's just cold out, I'm not robbing you!"

We had a good laugh but it sure freaked me out initially.

Yeah most bank robberies result in no more than a couple of grand. Unless it is an inside job, then you can figure out ways to get more. A LOT more.

You are lucky to be alive.

You always hear in the news about these clowns robbing the local Subway or corner store and only are able to grab a couple of hundred bucks... but those people usually aren't in their right mind anyways as they are just desperately trying to get enough $ for their next hit.
