Well that sucked.

I bought a single ticket for $100 at about 3pm outside of McMahon. I feel sorry for those suckers who paid thousands. There were SOOO many tickets available. Face value on my ticket was $260.

What can I say about that last play? Special team coordinator needs to fired. How did they not notice they had too many guys? When I saw the flag I assumed it was time clock violation and for a few seconds genuinely thought the Riders had won.

I'm less upset about that, than I am the fact that our D let them march down the field with almost no time left.

I guess for a lot of people on CP that was the best game possible. The Riders had their hearts broken. We didn't do anything in the 4th quarter though. I wish Miller had gone for the TD at the end of the 1st half. He also should have gone for it on 3rd and 1 in the 1st quarter.

It was really depressing driving home. No traffic on Crowchild at all. For at least a moment I considered cranking the wheel and ending my pain...but there is always next year.

Looking back at it, I think the Riders would have wanted the refs to call that penalty. Montreal would most likely tie the game and we would probably have overtime. The no-call actually went against the Riders. Next to the Stamps winning the Cup, seeing Rider fans have their hearts crushed is oh so sweeeeeeeeeetttttttt.

I've heard a lot of people say that- but what could they have done? They already burned their timeout.

Even better is the moron Rider fans talking about how they are the only team improving and that they have a dynasty on their hands.

They were average at best this year, needed the refs to win last week and had this game handed to them on a platter and still lost and yet they are a dynasty?

Pinning this on the special teams coach is pretty ridiculous. Unless the coach assigned 2 players two one spot there's not much he can do to prevent a player getting confused and being on the field when he's not supposed to be there.

I still can't figure out how nobody on the D realized it, if there's a guy lined up where you're supposed to line up something is wrong.

That's why I'm thinking the culprit was actually the guy in the endzone and maybe the plan was to just let the ball sail through?

Wow, that was a crazy ending. Credit to the Als for not giving up.

I now have a houseful of melancholy Riderfan/inlaws who just want to go home. Thank you 13th man!

Had to be. There is no purpose of him being there when they had a 2 point lead. Put em all on the line and go for th block. A single would have meant nothing.

Well that's going to stick in my craw for some time! My wife appreciated my drunken stunned silence as opposed to what she would have had to put up with if the first miss stood!

From what I've read this morning, that seems to have been the case. A single point wouldn't have hur them, why have anyone in the end zone?

It all depends on the call made on the sidelines. Armstead obviously thought they called a return, someone on the line thought they called a block. The block would have been the right call but they haven't said what was called so until they do (which they probably won't) no one will know who was the extra guy. My money is on Armstead.

That said I really only have one question about this Grey Cup. Who the heck picked Blue Rodeo for the Halftime show???!!??
