The Iron Bowl was a great game to watch.
I was on my way to birmingham about 11am and listened to the pre game show and they said the bama bus was stuck on the interstate and was late for pre game warmups.
Anywho Ingram is hurt via rumors that I heard.

"I don't think we have anyone injured badly," Saban said after the game. "Mark has a hip pointer. I didn't talk to the doctor to see how bad it was, but he has to rest and recover and get back to playing good football."
Ingram said the injury resulted from taking a helmet on the hip. "I kind of got a helmet right on it and bruised it a little bit," he said, "but I'll be all right."

Some bama fans say that since the team was late to pre game warm ups due to a car crash on the interstate it all had to do with the hotel reservations being leaked out.
if you go to this link
http://www.auburntron.com/2009/11/25/president-saban/
It shows how much a room is a night and how much money they spent to house the kids for one night.
What I like the best is auburn is only like 2 or so hours away from Tuscaloosa, Plus they sent a flag in advance so the Bama Flag was flown before the tide showed up to the hotel.

Man rivalry week is something else...
Texas got all they could handle from A&M, unranked NC State beats ranked NC, unranked OK is smoking ranked OK St., unranked Miss. St. is thumping ranked Ole Miss, unranked So. Carolina annihalted ranked Clemson, unranked WV beats ranked Pitt, and on and on.
Just unreal.

So with Oklahoma beating up on Oklahoma state is that going to give Boise State one of those at large BCS bids? The Bronco's didn't exactly impress with a huge win over Nevada, but they did win and still undefeated.

Dunno how they can keep them out myself...but that doesnt mean they wont.
As it has been explained ad nauseum on this board among a million others, the bowl system is just fine the way it is, so no need for a PO system to determine who is best. You see it all comes down to who can fill a stadium and buy crap the best...because really thats all that matters when its all said and done.

It's certainly going to help Boise, but the bottom line with the BCS bowls is that they can choose whatever team is eligible.
If they think another school will travel better, make for a more profitable week locally, etc. they can choose them over Boise without penalty (other than public scrutiny which I'm sure they're accustomed to).

Montana survives a scare from the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, who lost a couple of weeks ago at Minnesota by 3 points. Montana scores 6 unanswered touchdowns in the last 20 minutes to overcome an awful start and win 61-48!

I don't see anyway that a second non-BCS conference team gets in, it just doesn't make sense for a bowl to pick Boise when there's a team like Penn State and their thousands of fans sitting there. I don't know that Boise is a better team, but they do deserve the chance to prove themselves against the other top teams in the country. Boise's in a tough position, too good to get a decent team to play them, not big enough to have much of a chance to join a stronger conference. I don't know that there's a realistic solution for that at this point, but it would be nice to see the whole BCS v. non-BCS conference distinctions dome away with at the very least.

It wouldn't be Boise St vs. Penn St though. One of Penn St or Iowa will be in a BCS bowl, but not both.
It would be Boise St. vs. Pitt or Georgia Tech and Boise St almost assuredly gets in in that case.
There's really only a couple scenarios where Boise St doesn't get into a BCS Bowl. The obvious one is Nebraska upsetting Texas putting both those teams in the BCS. The other is if Pitt upsets Cincy, but it still remains to be seen if 11-1 Cincy gets in over 12-0 Boise St.

Ya you're right, for some reason I was under the impression that there was only one at large spot still up for grabs.
