Default Pens farm Lines

I know this issue has been raised before as a lot of teams have had issues with their farm teams fatigue and injury levels but my team has gotten to the point where I cannot make lines even by double shifting a bunch of players.

Currently I have 4 forwards out with injuries, 2 defensemen out. After that I have 7 Forwards with a CON rating of 95-97. It seems every game I get more and more injured or tired. I am losing players to exhaustion on a regular basis. Sometimes these players are playing just 3rd line AHl minutes and no special teams. The second I double shift a player to make up for current injuries that player falls to below 95 and misses games to exhaustion. I have zero forwards with a 100 con rating.

Is there a solution to this or do we just have to plug through it with unknown players?

Heh, yeah, it is pretty crazy with the fatigue. Last game I had 8 forwards out with injuries/fatigue. I had to move my two spare CPHL forwards down to the AHL and then just double shift a bunch of players. It's too bad the sim doesn't have an option to turn off fatigue in the AHL, trying to figure out the AHL lines is a bit of a pain.

Ya, I'm with you guys on this one...about a week ago I had 4 AHL d-men and 10 forwards healthy I think, it got a little crazy. The unfortunate thing is trades don't register for a day as well so it's tough to get another AHL guy in time for a game if you have back-to-back games.

No real solution - just plug in the unknown player. We will look at expanding rosters in the off-season.

Doesn't the unknown player cause the sim to crash? I thought that was an issue earlier in the season.

I changed a setting in the sim to allow the unknown player to actually skate on farm teams because otherwise it was becoming impossible to actually sim.

Thanks! I am glad you changed the setting, was worried that because of lack of healthy bodies I might screw up the simming.

I feel the pain too, I usually have at least 5 AHL players out but I have managed to escape the uknown player so far. Every farm game I am cycling my players from top line to bottom lines and special teams to non special teams, and alternating the extra forwards depending on the CON ratings
