I don't understand why you're getting so defensive about a simple question. I don't even care that you still haven't answered it either. It really isn't that big of a deal.

Right. A simple question. All you have asked is a simple question. My bad. How could I have missed your one post in this thread asking a simple question?

But I'll bite. Not wanting to read over your posts again, what question was that exactly?

Wasn't the rally changed to last night so some gangsta wanna be could record a hip hop video. If it was last night I'm betting little to no one showed up. After watching the first minute of that video that Reg posted (I had to stop after a minute, couldn't take it a second longer) one thought popped into my head. Their parents must be so proud of all of them. Real pillars of society!!

I think it's scheduled for next week.

Most of the commenters and confirmed guests look like they'd barely commit to going to a 7-11 for a Slurpee, let alone go downtown to protest.

I really hate transit cops to be honest. Never had a good experience with them. I was waiting for a ride one day, it was cold outside so i was sitting inside the train station. Yes it was late but I repeatedly told them I have someone picking me. Then they asked for ID which I thought was really strange. I told them what for? They claimed I was loitering! I couldnt believe it. Just a power trip I guess, just upset they failed at becoming a real cop.

In regards to this video... Sure he lipped them off a bit but I dont think the transit pigs have a right to spray him with mace and knee a guy in the side while holding him to the ground! Its wrong!

Are you kidding me? why does it serve them right? What were they doing wrong!? Were they vandilizing the train station? No. Were they starting a fight? No. Were they yelling and making a scene? No. Just transit PIGS looking for something to do. Regardless of what you think of those kids, that doesnt make it right.

I don't mean to defend all Transit Cops here. I've never had an experience with them one way or the other.

However at 1:19 of the video, the kid in the long sleeve black shirt comes up behind one of the officers, and puts his arms on him to pull him back from aiding the other officer inside the waiting area.

Ummm, if going up behind an officer and attacking him isn't justification to spray him with mace and knee a guy in the side while holding him to the ground (in an attempt to retrain his arms <-- you forgot that part), then I don't know what is.

Sounds like the un-edited video is going to be released by the police and its been reviewed by the Police Commission.

I really hope those idiots that plan to attend the rally review the video before they go so that they can see what kind of ###### bags they're supporting.

Sounds like the missing clips are pretty damning. This might be a really expensive publicity stunt by a couple of idiots who are probably going to end up needing lawyers and money to pay fines.

Sounds to me like you were loitering under Section 6 of City of Calgary Bylaw 54M2006.

I remember near the end of junior high when everyone went through that fad of calling everyone 'son'. "**** son", "I'll put you in your place, son".

Thankfully everyone realized how silly they sounded and grew out of it before high school.

Well, they've been each charged with assaulting a peace officer. resisting arrest and obstruction of justice for starters.

Who did they think they were dealing with? Inspector Gadget?

I would like to have a poll of the 500 people that show up to determine how many have jobs.

I'm always curious about these protesters, especially the ones that show up to every protest. How do the bills get paid?

Probably the same people who jump out in front of cars to get money in lawsuits.
