August long weekend, the first summer I had my license, my buddy and I had planned to go up to his lake. The day came and it decided to rain. This caused a major problem because my windshield wipers didn't work. So we decided to just switch them with my brothers and then switch them back after the weekend (He was also out of town, up at the lake and had left his car at home). So we got this switched and it was go time we were all excited we hopped in the car and I backed out of the garage.
One problem, I forgot to close my door. I guess I was just way too excited, my buddy didn't notice either. It went froward about 8 inches and we eventually were able to bend it back, but it was never the same.
That ended up writing the car off for me.. good old 88 four door, grey Sunbird. I will never forget her. So all that is on my license in 10 years of driving is an accident and *cough* two dui's *cough*.
