Brock Lesnar in bad health, very serious
UFC Heavyweight Champion Lesnar seriously ill in hospital
MANCHESTER - UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is seriously ill in hospital after collapsing in Canada, UFC president Dana White said Saturday.
"He's in rough shape, he's in really bad shape," White said Saturday after UFC 105.

Looks like Brock is in really rough shape I love this guy, I think he's amazing for UFC and the business... a real tragedy if he doesn't recover. I dont pray but I am hoping and crossing fingers for this man.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the amazing amounts of steroids he has taken.

Didn't he have H1N1 and was looking to postpone a fight?

The TSN artical says that he was battling mono, but he has something else, not AIDS, or Cancer, but someting very serious that he doesn't want to be talked about. I can see why some would assume what may be causing this latest bit of bad health, and not be thinking it's H1N1.

I've known a few people who've had H1N1, and apparently it's no biggie. Personally, when I read the article, I was thinking it was something neurological. The guy's probably not mentally stable, which is why he's embarrassed about coming out with it. Steroids makes sense too, but steroids isn't a "problem" like a disease or anything, so who knows what it is.
What's embarrassing is that this guy has a home in Canada. Yeesh.

But Steroids can cause serious health issues that he might not want to come out if it would make it more obvious that he took steroids.

H1N1 isn't anything to hide, or there is no reason to. Either they aren't sure what it is, or don't want anyone to know. Since the quote from Dana White is something about getting him help at the Mayo clinic or similar that implies it's something weird. That is assuming his Mayo clinic comment wasn't said in "jest", he's the type of guy who would say something like that off the cuff and mean it in a different way than was reported.
It'll be interesting to see what he has.

That's quite a stupid thing to say. That's like saying serial killers aren't so bad because all countries have them, so I shouldn't be ashamed that these people come from my country. Take a deep breath and relax, junior.

I've always wondered if Lesnar's antics and quotes were really just him being a ###### or just part of playing up the role of the heel. MMA is real competition, but that doesn't mean that it isn't marketed in similar fashion to professsional wrestling.

He was out blowing a giant horn at the NFL Baltimore Ravens and Minnisota Vikings game on October 18. Maybe he caught some sort of giant horn disease to go with his giant ego.
UFC president Dana White confirmed the news to Yahoo! Sports. Officially cancelling the bout on October 26. White said Lesnar has been ill for more than three-and-a-half weeks and unable to train. With the bout at UFC 106 (November 21) less than a month away, Lesnar was forced to postpone the title defense.
Lesnar’s co-manager, Brian Stegeman, said he does not know whether Lesnar had H1N1, commonly known as swine flu, and that he is beyond the stage at which he could be tested for the virus. He said Lesnar had upper respiratory issues, fever and extreme fatigue. The "official" word was Mononucleosis.
Now apparently he was supposed to have colapsed while in Canada and sent to a North dakota hospital and now may be requiring intestinal surgery.
He isn't fighting anytime soon and won't be able to defend the title so if that happens looks like another interum heavyweight champ fight. Randy Couture will have a few more Light-heavy fights and watch this development for sure.
Randy might also be watch out for his hat.

I hope he regains his health and then never fights in the UFC again. His antics were an embarassment to the sport.

HawkEGoon, that's your second post that reads exactly like a copy and paste from an article. Either you write just like a sports writer, or you really need to link your stuff.

I think that line there kinda blew the sports writer theory outta the water
