Again, thanks all for your thoughts and prayers.
Mom has been moved from the foothills hospital into a hospice this morning. This will be so much better for her and for the family.

Im sorry dude  cancer is rough. my mom is recovering from pancreatic cancer, 3 years now. they gave her 5% chance of survival within the 1st few years, and shes healthy like a horse. stories like this always remind me tho

My mom became totally unresponsive this morning, and is likely to pass away today or tomorrow, unless a miracle occurs.

My thoughts and prayers to you. My grandpa died of cancer 3 years ago... and was relatively close to him.. but I can't imagine how would it feel to have my mother be ill.

I've already responded in this thread but I wanted to say sorry again to have to go through what you are going through.
Also, just from a little personal experience from the past that maybe can help anyone out in the future.............
The Chinook Hospice in Calgary has an absolutely fantastic staff. I would definitely most encourage anybody to take a loved one there if they are deciding between hospice's. My father was taken there last December and the staff is incredible.
Again, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Nobody can ever take away the memories.

Didn't see this thread until now. It's sad that everyone is touched by cancer in some way and it's a truly horrible disease.
