Yeah, nothing I can think of will get even close to the Ferrari FXX. Maybe if they put the Koenigsegg CCXR around, but I think the Ferrari would still be faster. I can't think of a car faster.
And Michael isn't the Stig, it was reported by papers that Ben Collins is, like he was rumored to be for years.
Giving this a bump. Sadly the series is over, and the last bit left a bitter taste in my mouth, as if they were signaling the end of Top Gear. I am sure they aren't and will be back in October or November, but nonetheless.
Also, thought this was epicly good:
Edit: oooh, my 2000th post. I now rule.

I loved the ending to the series, its back in November though according to the official site.
The advertisements were hilarious, Jeremy's one with the guy with 1 arm, and when they remade the classic VW one with the suicide at the end were hilarious
Reminder. New series starts this Sunday. This season is going to be shot in HD!!!
I think the only other Top Gear that was shot in HD was the Polar special Episode where they went to the North Pole. If you haven't seen that yet you should. It was pretty awesome.
Best show on tv in my opinion...I love loading up the DVR with repeat Top Gear episodes throughout the week, and then running a TG marathon on the weekends while I do things around the house.
I just hope we never see an American version of Top Gear. Imagine all the fun that would be sucked out due to safety regulations....
I think they filmed a pilot but it never aired. The main host was the guy from the Man Show (not Jimmy Kimmel, the other one).
I tried watching the Aussie version but I couldn't get through a full episode. Cool cars, but the production wasn't very well done and guys with Australian accents annoy me.
Unfortunately I don't get BBC so I don't get to watch it as much as I like but I find it to be one the most entertaining shows on t.v.
Has anyone ever seen the documentary they did to find the ultimate super car? Probably 3 years old but so amazing! I don't think you can actually buy it in North America, I saw a bootlegged version.
Top Gear is great fun; Season 10 was still the best though =)
As for safety regulations, you can't get more annoying than "health and safety" in the UK. Despite all the madness that HSE does in the UK, they still manage to pull off a superb show. It's usually more about the dynamic of the hosts, have you watched TG season 1? I can't remember the guy's name...but he didn't have that chemistry with Hamster and Jezza, and the show wasn't as fun as it could've been.
Now you have Captain Slow (ironically not that Slow), and he's just awesome. =)
