Cheaper XBOX LIVE points?
Someone here posted a site a long time ago that sold points for a discount price. The site has since gone down now and I was wondering if anyone knows a better place to buy points and/or Gold memberships.

Really? I have to plead ignorance here. These points are the same price everywhere?

I recommend picking them up in bulk when Futureshop or Best Buy has their 10% off everything sales. This includes PSN and Xbox Gamer cards. Because the price is the same everywhere its the cheapest ive been able to get points

Sometimes they're even 20% off which is when I usually pick them up.

Got the 2800 point card for under $40 at the new WestHills Best Buy
They had 30% off all Xbox accessories, point cards and Live Gold cards included in that sale

Question, I have some original XBOX Live subscription card, does anyone know if these transfer over to the 360 or they ONLY work for the XBOX? If they transfer I am willing to sell them.

Hey it's not your fault for sears screwing up on their catalogs.
Gotta get them when you can.

You can buy downloadable games, add-ons, or rent movies with them.

The only points I've used before were for COD5 map packs, and i was very let down, it was roguhly 10-15$ for 3 maps that I did not enjoy. It's funny how computer versions of all the same games do not charge for DLC.
I am going to play some user created games soon though, arcade games

yeah we did the same thing, took a bunch of those sears flyers and took it to wal mart and got a boat load of points. major mis print that THEY wouldn't honour, but those who price matched did.

Some do. I had to pay for DLC for Far Cry 2 and FEAR 2 just to name a couple.
