Richmond loses to Villanova 21-20, so Montana has a chance to move into the #1 spot with a win today. They have a precarious 9-3 halftime lead over woeful Idaho State.

Bobcats looked good today. Scored early and often, then sat on the lead to beat Portland St. 28-10.
Looking forward to a hard fought Cat-Griz this year!

Should be a great game this year. We had that here in Kansas today. A Sunflower Showdown that meant 'something'. K-State fans are pretty stoked for the first time since Snyder left. Looks like they'll be losing to Texas in the Big 12 Championship. I can't get too fire up about college football in this state, basketball is another story though.
I would love to get to watch the Cat-Griz game this year.

Well, I have no real rooting interest in Division I college football anymore this year. LSU is out of conference and national title contention.
I'm free to just enjoy the chaos that is the BCS from here on out.

Im just glad that ND lost...having them in one of the BCS games this year would of been an abomination considering their schedule.
Cant believe that Stanford hangs 51 pts on Oregon...good for them and Coach Harbaugh. He has really turned that thing around and helped propel the PAC 10 into elite conference status once again.
And I dunno what you were watching Moon...but Clausen was nothing but pure guts in that last quarter...the kid is a player.

You must have seen some horrible ones because there was some horrid missed/non calls there.. Its hard to take the SEC serious with all the calls that go the Big 2 teams way...

I was watching him take those two bad sacks.
Not much he can do with the line he has and I agree that he was tough as nails to come back from that hit on the goal line, but I got a little tired of the hype that ND nation (led by NBC) has given him all year.

I was at that game and took some pictures for you guys. I just have to upload them.
The Pick that LSU had (or didn't) I couldn't tell because I was on the lsu side and didn't have a clear view and they didn't show it on the video board.
It was a good game to be at in person.

BTW I hope that Javid Best is doing okay. That was one nasty fall.

What are everyone's thoughts on Cincy?
As far as I'm concerned, if 2 of the top 3 slip up and Cincy runs the table they should be in the title game. They've beat up on their opposition pretty much every week (only 2 wins of less than 11+ points, smallest margin of victory was 8), played a pretty good non-con schedule (Oregon St, Illinois, and an under-rated Fresno St program), and will have ended the season with wins over a good West Virginia and #13 and rising Pitt in the last 3 weeks of the season.
I've only seen them play twice (against South Florida and tonight against UConn), but they've looked impressive both times. They destroyed South Florida on the road after losing Tony Pike. That's pretty impressive for a college football team to lose their star QB on the road and not only manage to win, but open the game up after that point.

I think they are a bigger paper tiger than Iowa was.
The Big East makes the ACC look like a powerhouse.
I am hoping that that they somehow get USC in their BCS bowl so that they get killed by 30 points.

Did anyone watch the USC/ASU game? I see my boy Brock Osweiler took over for Sullivan at some point and got the Sun Devils into the end zone. Any thoughts on his play? Size and athleticism etc?

I'd like to hear what makes you think they're worse than Iowa.
Unlike Iowa, they've been blowing out their competition on a weekly basis. Last night was only the 1st game they've won with-in less than a TD.
The Big East isn't exactly tough, but Cincy did beat Oregon St by 10 on the road (the same team that USC beat at home by 2 two weeks ago).
Saragrin's rankings have the Big East as the 4th best conference (ACC is 3rd) which is pretty fair I'd say. The Big Ten and Big 12 have been very, very mediocore this season.

That was Oregon, not Oregon State...though the Beavers aren't a slouch.
I think Cincinatti will lose at Pitt anyway, so it won't be an issue.

Nope, it was Oregon St. I messed up the score though.
9/19/09 - Cincy 28 @ Oregon St. 18
10/24/09 - Oregon St. 36 @ USC 42

And I misread your post. Thought you wrote the same team that beat USC two weeks ago.
Woops!

I'm not convinced Cincy is that good. USC really doesn't have any business being in a BCS bowl game this year.
TCU/Utah game should be a good one this week. Utah is rebuilding, had a midseason OC change and switched to the Freshman QB. Defence is going to have to keep Andy Dalton off balance and get some picks.
Still waiting to see if Oklahoma will be the first .500 team in the top 25.

Arizona's stretch run is pretty rough for a Pac-10 team:
@ Cal (without Best)
Oregon
@ASU
@ USC
If the Cats win out, they're Rose Bowl bound (possible rematch against Iowa). If they go 3-1 and Oregon heads to the Rose Bowl, I think there's a really good argument for them to play in the Fiesta as an at-large (maybe against TCU).
Although, there's the distinct possibility of them going 1-3 or 2-2 and playing in some lame Furniture.com bowl.
Go Cats!

Yes but if USC makes it to the rose bowl they would still embarrasse whoever the Big11 sends them
