You think the PC's and WAP are far-right parties?
I question whether they are right wing at all. They seem be pretty close to the center with many of their views.

I've liked Danielle Smith ever since she hosted Global Sunday. Smart, witty, attractive - she has a lot going for her.
Does the WRA (there's no way they can be the WAP) have some sort of policy manual that we can look at? I really don't know too much about where they stand on issues.

They're probably about as far right wing as the Liberals are left wing. In actuality, both would probably be considered close to centre by a lot of country's standards.

The PCs are downright left wing in how they spend...
And I think it says something significant that the only way the Liberals hope to get traction is to have the vote on the right split. That is a major sign of a party that has no ideas of its own, and no hope of convincing the populace it is best fit to govern. The Liberals should not be thinking so small. They should be thinking about how support for the PCs is down 20% and none of that has gone to them. Looking forward to seeing who replaces David Swann after the next Liberal election disaster.

I like how Smith is a social liberal (but it seems WAP is still giving a voice to folks like Dyrholm). I don't like Smith's idea that government has to be minimized/decentralized to such an extent. We've seen what happens when things are too deregulated - securities fraud, health scams (Dyrholm is a woo peddler himself - chiro and homeopathy).

Danielle Smith looks like my mom.
She is not a looker, unless you're very old. Or you haven't been with or around attractive women in a very long time.
Besides that, you know your existing political parties are bad when an internet protocol is getting almost as much share in the voting.

In all fairness, can you be an objected judge of your mom's hotness?

Sure, it's whizzing in the wind, but at least I have a clear conscience about how I voted.

Wow, I'm impressed. She looks like every middle-aged secretary in every business lobby across the country. Yawn.
Maybe you folks have it rough over there in Alberta. Too many farmer chicks.

The right wing vote could be split 30 ways and the Liberal's would still be incapable of getting any traction.

Hard to say how the current Liberal ridings will do. I look at my riding (Swann's), and honestly I could see any of the three parties winning it if an election were held now. It's just as likely that the WAP split the anti-PC vote in that riding and allow the Conservatives to take it. All depends on where the WAP draw their votes from.
