Any place where they can grow sugar cane and where they bottle their own Coke or Pepsi. Pop made from cane sugar is 100 times better than the corn based crap we have.
Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke are 1a and 1b.
Coke Zero would be 3rd.
I've been drinking Phillips Union with my cola. If you like the Vanilla Coke, and Rye... get this stuff. Comes in Vanilla and Cherry. The only place I've seen it is the Creekside Coop Liqour Store.

I miss Tahiti Treat (sp?).
I was just gonna post, if anyone remembers Tahiti Treat.
I used to love that stuff when I was a kid.
They tried to bring it back a few years ago, but it just wasn't the same.

I hear you on that one. It really does not seem to taste good coming from plastic bottles. I have stopped buying those and just the cans now. I thought I was saving money buying plastic bottles, but there is just no comparison... kind of odd.
It seems like plastic just cant hold the same amount of carbonation as a can can. I think strong carbonation is what makes it really good, and plastic bottle never seem to be as strong.
Also drinking out of plastic just never seems as good and "refreshing" as drinking out of ice-cold metal or glass. It's like drinking beer out of a foam cup...never as good as a stein.
I think it was a Futurama episode where Fry was lost in the desert and saw a mirage of a Dr. Pepper machine. Then when he got close it turned out to be an RC Cola machine and he became sad and walked away. I've never tried it though so I can't judge it.
Anything that's made in smaller batches is good too- so a lot of the small weirdo brands that you are seeing pop up at specialty shops are good to try.
Nothing beats a crisp cold Coke (or Pepsi if you're in the mood!)

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that.
I'll go out of my way - and do - to find a Diet Coke in a can, crisp and cold out of the cooler, rather than settle for a bottle.
Quite a difference in the taste and it stays cool longer.
Through weekdays, I pick up one (1) Diet Coke in a can at about 7 in the morning and that lasts me usually through to noonish. My doctor doesn't believe me when I tell him I start that early and only have one.

Dr. Pepper, definitely. Vanilla Coke with the HM, (RIP) and Henry Weinhardt's Root Beer from the States.

Oh, and this stuff. You can only get it in France and the drink itself is nothing special, but...
Best. Name. Ever.
