Yankees score 3 in the top of the 9th to take a 7-4 lead and it looks like they will take a 3-1 lead in the World Series.

Don't really follow baseball too much but I know a lot of people will be happy with the result but even more will be upset.

I do not understand playing the shift with Texiera up, I mean yeah you might get him to hit it there for the out, but to give Damon third like that seems like a huge error. Really changed everything.

It was a pretty lucky play in that Damon was so alert to go right away and that Feliz was not only drawn to that side of the bag but a bit lazy as well.

I think the chances of that play happening again are pretty rare.

Probably more important to get Texiera out for the third out of the inning then guard against that random play.

Lidge should have been covering third on that play. He wasn't on the ball at all on that play.

That double-base steal was so embarrassing to watch.

Lidge sucks! Burn him! With fire!

That was a brilliant play by Damon.

Does the grease in Chase Utley's hair give him superpowers or something?

Things are getting interesting in the top of the 9th here. 8-5 Phillies right now, runners on 1st and 3rd for the Yanks, no outs, Jeter at bat.

That was the single worst performance of the Star Spangled Banner ever. Way to EFF that up Mary J Blige.

Who's your Daddy? Looks like it's Hideki Matsui. Could a guy who didn't start 3 games win MVP?

Does the MVP get selected from the entire post season or just the world series? I'd have to think A-Rod or CC would get consideration, although A-Rod didn't have a great world series. Or if it's just world series, could Utley be considered?

I am pretty sure it is just the World Series because they already have LCS MVP's and someone on ESPN was talking about giving it to CC if the Yankees won in 7 since starting 3 games would have been impressive.

Joe Girardi deserves a lot of credit. Say all you want about a big payroll, he did a great job with this ball club.

Jeter, Damon, Matsui, and even Rivera can probably be considered for MVP.

Yankees win. I wonder how many people will get hit in the head with bottles in Philly tonight.

Talk about living the dream.....

Eric Hinske two World Series Rings. 3 trips to the World Series

He looks like the guy from the King Of Queens just smaller.

I could not be happier for Girardi.
