Check the thread title...that's kind of the point. If you want to start a "Best movies of all-time" thread, go for it.

Definitely a good movie. I considered it for the top 10, just not a huge fan of the genre. The only Westerns I've really liked are it and Unforgiven. I was enjoying 3:10 to Yuma until the ending. The last 10-20 minutes of the movie ruined it for me.

My husband and I were just laughing about Team America: World Police, so I thought I'd throw that movie in, if it hasn't been mentioned. Maybe not "the greatest" in some people's minds, but all of my favourite movies are comedies.

Speaking of other good comedies, I probably should have included Super Troopers.

Definitely!
I have to second everyone who mentioned the Bourne Trilogy, Casino Royale and Iron Man.
So I change my statement of "all my faves are comedies" to "all my faves are comedies and action". Not too refined in my tastes I guess, but it's all about the entertainment value to me.

My top 10 in no particular order:
Hot Fuzz
Sunshine
The Emperors New Groove
The Prestige
Old School
28 Days Later
Role Models
Let The Right One In
Inside Man
Office Space (because technically 1999 was 10 years ago)
Edit for a few honourable mentions: Zodiac, Pan's Labyrinth, The Machinist, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Remember the Titans

I don't know if I can come up with 10, but here's a few in no particular order:
No Country For Old Men - one of the best times I've had at the movies in years. I wanted to stand up and applaud. I waited a long time to see it and was not disappointed.
LOTR - I'll put all 3 here. Great movies, Jackson put on film what I saw in my head when I read the books so many years ago.
The Dark Knight - Another movie that lived up to the hype. So sad that we've lost the talent that was Heath Ledger, what a performance.
3:10 to Yuma - I love a good western, and this one was that and more. I echo Dis' sentiments that Ben Foster should have been awarded something for his portrayal.
Open Range - speaking of westerns, I loved this one, too. Great scenery, good story, terrific actors.
Inglorious Basterds - just for Christoph Waltz. Wow.
Dodgeball - just a great, goofy comedy. Vaughn cracks me up. Jason Bateman as the colour man is fantastic.
Snatch - great cast of characters with a fun storyline.
The Bourne movies - can't single out one, I liked them all. A renewed respect for Matt Damon after seeing these.

Robert Duvall is so true to his type in this movie that he even makes Kevin Costner into a bad-ass.

By the way, Shoot 'Em Up was just a classic action comedy. Loved it.

I had it three pages back! Great show. I don't like all his movies but Johnny Depp is always good.
Hey am I the only one who didn't like Children of Men? What was it that you all thought made it a top ten?

Mentioned.
I think I was the only one to choose it at the time I posted. That's one movie I never get tired of watching.
BTW, good to read things are well with your baby.
