Dude that is bulls**t. you create a new league making the first league s**t from now on. The draft list is also bulls|**t because it gave people less than a day to join. It's ######in halloween. S**t I'm lucky I had the opportunity to sign in at all this weekend and see this s**t.
A whole new draft is in a sense bull, but is thats what we are doing. there is no reason to not wait and give peeps some time to sign in and get their spot.

First of all, we created a new league out of consensus from the other thread that the lack of committed players was killing the league. That made the first league 's**t', not me.

Secondly, we said we're going to have a lower number of people to keep it short so we can have quicker playoffs etc.

So, we cap it at 10. 10 people sign up within a 2 day period. That's why we did the draft. You come in later and say you want in, and we accommodate, but to keep it fair for the guys who previously signed up, drop you to 11 and 12 pick. Yeah, that sucks, I know, but what else are we going to do?

Gotta agree with this. I generally do not check CP over the weekend so I missed out on this. I have played a number of games (>2/week for sure). I don't mind picking 13th though but I would like to be added. Please note, I am currently having problems with my XBOX (E68 error) and will need to either send my Hard Drive in or figure something else out.

I'd like to be in the league too, and I would like to echo Temp's comments. The "new" league should have had at least the same level of courtesy to everyone else that the "old" league had.

If there's disagreement, which there obviously is, then we'll have to start over. But what will happen once we restart that league and 3 people claim they weren't given a chance to join a few days later? Will we just start again?

The whole point was to cap it at a set number of players. We reached that number quickly. Why is that now the fault of the people who checked the thread?

For now, I'm deleting this league. If someone wants to start a new one and deal with everything that comes along with it, so be it. Otherwise, we can stick with the league that no one plays in.

My apologies to the people who signed up earlier. I'm sure someone will start a new one and we can just join that or just redo the draft here once we cap it at 30 players (which is the only way we can keep everyone happy).

It's funny an xbox league elicits such an expletive latent response.

Sign up here. Please, for the love of god, only sign up if you play at least a few times per week. If you're going to sign up and not play, you'll be removed.

Now, we'll have to figure it out.

How many teams? I say cap at 10 or 15.

How shall we select the order, or, just do a first-come, first-serve basis for teams.

That's all fine and dandy, but it would mean the league creator (aka me) would get 1st pick. So, because that doesn't seem fair, we can devise another way.

One way we could do it is the first 5 people to sign up get top 5 pick. We'll do a draw to find the pick order. I'll PM them the league name and password. Once all 5 have selected their teams, we'll open it up to the rest and I'll post the details here. That way, games can get underway right away and we don't have to wait for a lengthy draft order and folks to pick their teams etc.

Reason behind starting this league is the lack of participation in the other. Again, I stress this, if you are not able to play a few games per week, don't bother. Join the other league.

So what's the friggen deal here? OUr league is done without so much as a courtesy message saying we are starting a new league with active members would you like to join? I had 5 or 6 games in, but that's because I generally couldn't get anyone to play. I'd message them when they were online only to get no response.

The "they should have checked this thread on CP" excuse is BS. Some of us are what people call professionals and with that designation comes something called a job. We can't sit here all day hoping to get some new news on the league.
