How can people think Harvey's has the worst fast food? They have better burgers than any other franchise.
I definitely like the fact that you can top your burger how you want at Harveys, but when it comes to their beef patties, I honestly think they are one of the worst of any franchise. To me they taste exactly like those cheap frozen Olympic meats patties you get at the grocery store.
Harvey's burgers have the consistency of jello. The meat seems to have been formed from very fine ground beef. Biting into them has a strange texture; I think the reason they do the 'Subway' style toppings is to mask the patty.

lol my first job was at that Harvey's about 12 years ago, they never change the oil in the fryer! Before the lunch and dinner rush we would make all the fries in advance and put it under the heat lamp, and if you complained that the fries are cold, the shift manager would take your fries and dip it in the fryer again for 10 seconds, then spit in it! lol...it was so gross I quit after a month. You couldn't pay me enough to eat there ever again haha.

On that note, when I worked as a dishwasher at the cafeteria at Scurfield Hall at the U of C, I found out they changed the oil there every six months. Yummy.
Maybe I'm getting old but personally I hate all fast food burgers, If I have to eat fast food it's never a beef burger (if you can call it beef) I'll do chicken burgers or strips.
