I died in the first level of Mario Bros.

It's harder without the controller.

I was game over by the 5th level of Bubble Bobble. Now all I've got to show for it is that goddamned tune stuck in my head.

Somebody should invent a NES controller that hooks up to USB. Ditto for SNES.

This is really cool, cheers

lately i got aquainted with a title i missed out on back in the day: Zelda Ocarina of Time.. man, its great

re: controllers, this looks promising

http://www.amazon.com/Retrolink-Supe.../dp/B000YDVN3Q

might look into the N64 one there, as using a standard PC gamepad for Zelda is proving annoying

Emulators are garbage, you need the original controller for the true NES experience. I prefer sitting on my couch and playing my original NES console on a real TV with one of my 50 carts.

You're doing it wrong. You're supposed to be cross-legged on the floor.

Don't feel bad. Managing to land on the aircraft carrier in that game is akin to getting cold fusion to work.

Also, Master Blaster was the best NES game ever.

It seems to me that Video Games were a lot harder back in the day than they are now.

Me too, only level 5. It's too slow with the keyboard.
I've also played too much of the original RBI Baseball and now have that song stuck in my head.
