Default In need of a toy gun

I was wondering if any of you can recommend a place where I can buy a toy gun to complete my Halloween costume. I don't wan't a western style hand gun, which is all I can find, what I am looking for is an assault rifle of some sort. All I need is something bada$$ to complete my army uniform. Not trying to sound old or anything, but I remember back in the day, I used to have dozens of them kicking around at home. Now it seems like they don't sell them anymore. What do kids do these days? Throw flowers at each other? Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Toys R Us or try the Dollar Store.

Anything you can't find in ordinary stores anymore can usually be found at dollar stores.

Northland Mall Dollar store has these light up AK-47 and M4 style guns. They aren't kid sized though. It's illegal to import 1:1 weapons unless they have transparent plastic receivers.

You can buy these however, at Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire in the sports section:

You can get ones like this @ Bass Pro Shop:

PM Hobby store on 32 ave has sweet airsoft guns but you'll probably have to spend a bit to get a nice one. Maybe try kijiji for an airsoft gun?

See if you have a friend with an airsoft gun... they actually look like the real thing. I've seen guns that have the right weight ratio and feel of a real assault rifle.

If not, get some cheapo gun at walmart, CT, or that big fishing place (sells plastic guns) in Balzac and spray paint it black.

If you want to be truly badass, I think getting a 'real' airsoft gun is the best way

Dude, don't BRING an actual painted or black airsoft gun out in public though. They can be confused for the real thing by the cops. Stick to something clear or with a big orange tip.

Go Flames Go. Don't be stupid. Bringing these things out in public is just being dumb and asking for trouble.

You can easily dress up as some kind of a soldier or zombie killer or a SWAT team guy without having a gun.

How are you going to fondle all the halloween girls when you are carrying a freaking rifle all the time anyway? Girls won't think you're cool. I feel like a loser for having these already.

I did that last year, and likely this year too since I can't come up with another costume; and found an amazing toy machine gun at a dollar store. They are your best bet, just check a few dollar stores and you will find something awesome.

Yeah, you can make cool lights n' sounds with them too!

Last I saw, they were like $12-$14 at the Dollar store. Yes, dollar store.

That's awesome... thanks guys.

Last year I did a police costume with a little plastic handgun and surprisingly it makes picking up chicks at the bar so much easier. I guess drunk girls like it when you point objects in their face and make weird sounds.

Haha. I really was kidding about the bad ass comment. Yes. Terrible idea even on Halloween day to bring out what looks like real guns. I knew a guy a few years back had one of those cap guns and spray painted the orange cap black and before he knew it, a few cop cars with guns drawn surrounded him and threw him to the ground hard.

Sure, anything you want to hit with a pellet. It sprays about 30 pellets per second on full-auto. I'm sure I could shred a newspaper in about 3 seconds

I heard walkie-talkies are badass. The Feds used them instead of pistols in the re-release of ET.
