Voicing discontent at FedEx field is not allowed. Dan Snyder sure knows how to win over the fans.

No suspension for Johnson and they have to figure out what to do with him.

I wonder if the league will fine him? Joey Porter got a $10,000 fine for saying the F word a couple years ago.

No, they never cut to the press conference and continued to run the same message on the ticker until I had to bail 20 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Great read. I wonder how the Redskins are by far and away the most profitable professional sports team in north america? Sounds like a pasionate fan base that will spend the money (because they get sued if they don't) to support the team.

Edit: Correction, the most profitable sports franchise in the world (back in 2007).

I was trying to project records yesterday and I see 6 teams who I am pretty certain will be 3-13 or worse. I only project the Colts, Vikings, and Saints as winning at least that many games. Granted there are like 3 teams I figured would win 12 games, still many of the bad teams could lose 14, and the Rams and Bucs may well lose all 16.

As a result there ends up being a lot of teams in that 10-6 range, and as you say in the NFC you could end up with Green Bay, Atlanta, Philly, and Dallas all having that record and not winning their Division. Oddly enough if that happens, the Eagles may be hurt less by that loss to Oakland than the Falcons would losing to Dallas due to how tie breakers work. Granted they'll wish they had that 11-5 record and weren't in that position, but if they beat the right teams the tie breaker will favor them.

Could be some type of mess though at the end of the year.

1. When the hell did the Metrodome in Minnesota get it's name changed to Mall of America Field?

2. With the Vikings schedule set up the way it is, I think they could hit that 11-5 mark. @GB, vs. DET, vs. SEA, vs. CHI, @ARI, vs. CIN, @CAR, @CHI, vs. NYG

4 losses somewhere in there? A loss against GB, ARI and CHI all on the road??

I think when the MLB regular season ended and the Twins were no longer a tenant is when they made the switch. I remember hearing about it at the start of the month.

I think 4 losses is the max for your Vikings. This week in Green Bay is tough, and I think the game in Arizona could be too. But the Vikings are a good team and as such...they'll find a way to beat other good teams.

I think Cincinnati and NYG will be good match-ups too and most likely the NYG game will be meaningless for them.

Your thinking the Chargers will make the playoffs before the Bengals or Ravens?

Rumours floating around KC that LJ will never play another down for the Chiefs (probably in the NFL). Rumour is LJ is only being retained because the Chiefs brass doesn't want to send a message that disgruntled players can force their way out of town by acting up. It appears that Priest Holmes record is safe.

I worry about my Niners when they are signing guys off the Chiefs practice squad.
