Funny you ask...I just get there and I sit down at the table next to Jodi and Kevin (waitress/owner) and in walks this "dude." Early twenties, with 3 buddies, all have hats on askew, pants riding low, and those MMA shirts type things. Anyway, the last guy was walking in like he was looking for trouble. Angry glare and he swung his arms out well away from his body like his muscles were just too big for his arms to be vertical, you know?

I made eye contact and just couldn't help laughing at him. But no fisticuffs. Kevin, Jodi and the bartender had a good laugh at my response. I think the gy thought he was walking into the octagon, not a neighborhood pub.

No Canuck fans to ridicule either.

Bad language...oh yeah Moss had a shoot out try right? I see Rome is the same dick he was in junior.

How about Nov 14th at Pete's Pub? Flames are on that night.

We need to confirm who will run the team next year, so in preparation for that...who is coming back?

I will start with: I will return, if you can bear my toque of shame wearing self.

What about returnees from 2 years ago? Rhettzky and Rubecube?

Once we know who's coming back, we can fill out any holes.
There is a lady on CP who would like to join up, it is Peanut. Also there is a ringer available, SeeGeeWhy, if we have room for a guy. If we don't have room I say we dump someone!

So, confirm whether you are coming back, and volunteer/nominate someone to run the team.

I'm returning. We can see about running the team, but I already run 2 youth soccer teams as well as a rec soccer team, so adding another team might be too much. I dont know how much work it is to run the softball team.

I don't mind doing my part again. Cash collection, the meetings, purchasing equipment. I don't think we even need to buy balls next year. I have a backpack full of them.

We need more girls. IMO, Peanut can join just because we always have a girl problem. If CGY will probably be there just because (they're married, si?), so he can sub for me when I'm too drunk to play. I think we should have 5 girls and 10 guys.

Windom, have you talked to Ang lately? Do you know if she wants to play next year?

She is pretty cute! But I'm not biased or anything.

I am. I'm also happy with the fact that it's done by mid august.
