You aren't providing any evidence other than your own skepticism. That isn't science. That's garbage.

Just curious who you do trust then?
Do you have the time and knowledge to do your own medical trials on the vaccine and the virus to come up with your own conclusions?

The medical community is made up of many very brilliant people who have spent their life studying virus and vaccines on order to protect the general public. Why would they lie to us? I don't see their motivation for fear mongering.

I agree that you have to do your research and make sure you are well informed when making decisions like this. But when a vast majority of the medical community endorses and encourages the vaccine I can't see why they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

If you need accounting advice do you trust accountants?
If you need building/constrution advice do you trust engineers?
If you need legal advice do you trust lawyers? (Sorry bad example)
These people are experts in their field and we lean on them for advice and guidance.
Why is the medical community different?

Not asking to be an ass. Just honestly curious who you do trust.

I must say that I am shocked by the results (as of this post) of the poll.

I would say that the average IQ of the posters on here is above average, and to see that the yeas and nays are so close (94 to 90), is astonishing.

I voted no, because I probably have no time to do this, not because I'm opposed to it.

Weak excuse dude! Make the time...it's a lot quicker than being sick and out of commission for a week plus.

I understand.... actually no I don't... Which takes more time? 1 to 2 hours to get your shot or 2-3 weeks in bed with the flu. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

P.S. I read somewhere that in the USA they are expecting 63% of the population to come down with the H1N1 flu this year.

Is that more or less than the number of people that were expected to contract bird flu? What about the pandemic that was going to kill everyone before that?

Explain to me where you see a correlation between a persons IQ and them deciding to get a flu shot.

Are you suggesting that those who choose not to get a flu have a low IQ?

When not getting a flu shot means you will come down with the flu that's a legitimate argument, until then it's garbage.

For the drug companies sure I can see that.
What about the health ministers and doctors? How are they profiting from it? If anything, if this thing breaks out into a pandemic then Doctors are going to make way more cash. With the OT hours doctors will be required to work they are going to make way more money if people don't get vaccinated.

How do they profit by suggesting people do what is in their best interests to stay healthy?

People who insinuate that this some sort of vast conspiracy fuelled by a the entire medical community have the IQ of a dog. Morons who can't make their own decisions.

My wifes a nurse so I obviously have no problem with the medical community H1N1 is one of the most over-hyped media stories in recent times. Big pharma and the entire medical system is going to make a killing off of this hype. Maybe you are confusing what I was getting at. My wife went to work the other night and had to help a few patients on ventilators and she didn't come home with extra pay but any time you can profit from panic capitalism takes over and the medical community is no exception to this....

Except Canada has socialized medicine and there isn't a lot of profit to be made.
