Sure it does, by implication - you are referring to yourself as the girl in the picture. Plus he'd laugh - "hahaha she should change her name to VVFL - very very funny lady!"
That doesn't even make sense. But I'm not surprised.

NSFL=Not So Funny Lady. But I will also accept Not Safe For Life and Not Sober For Long.

I love rap. Not as much as I love metal, but I love rap. My ball team should be happy that I stick to Gordon Lightfoot and David Wilcox at the tourneys. I could be punishing them with Slayer and Snoop.
I don't know why white people are looked down on for listening to rap. No, I've never hung out in Compton, never shot anyone, don't own a 'fo 'fo, and I don't have a rival gang trying to kill me. But who cares? Music is music. I love the song Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, but I've never been on a big boat, never been shipwrecked, never lost a loved one to a shipwreck... But I'm perfecly ok to like music like that.
So are black gangsters allowed to like white music? Are they allowed to rock some Metallica in their '64 impala with hydraulics? Or is music a barrier between us and them? I love MJ. His greatest hits album never leaves my disc changer. Is it ok for a white boy like me to listen to MJ because he's not gangster?
Does one have to be a fat biker to like blues? I used to go to the King Eddy (and made double sure not to bump into people), just to hear these bearded bikers rock out. Didn't make me want to be a biker, I just liked the sound.
Am I ok to go to David Wilcox tonight? Of course I am. He's a good old white boy from Canada. What about the Brad Paisley concert I went to in February? I've never lived in the country, am I ok to like country music?

Nope. But it's not about never living in the country. Country music just sucks.
I used to hate country. It's all about exposure. In high school, you kind of end up with friends that like the same music, so I never was exposed to any country music. But through my 20s, I met new people, and was slowly introduced to bits and pieces of country music. I started to be ok with it, and now, I'm a full blown country music lover. A couple of local country stations are programmed into my truck radio. There's good tunes on there. I can listen to 1060 or 105 before I can listen to CJAY to hear Ocean f'ing Pearl again.
edit, sorry, I know you're not from Calgary. 1060 and 105 are country stations, and CJAY is the local "play the same old recycled rock, over, and over, and over, and over" station. When 90.3 and 92.9 were born, I knew there was a God.

54-40 only gets play because they're helping meet the Canadian quota. At least, that's the only reason I can figure because I personally can't stand that band.
The irritating issue when it comes to people and country music is that pop-country (which is primarily bad) has now just become all country music for most people. This is, of course, not the case at all. There are bluegrass, honky-tonk, rock-a-billy, and folk country bands that are fantastic in every regard but will never get played on country music radio. And people who think "all country music sucks" have already ruled out these bands because on some level they are considered country music.
