Wow, i asked where's the D and the O then both sides responded. First Burris and the Offense scored a TD then D stopped the Esk' drive 2 and out. I should ask more often.
Calgary 9-6 after the first half. OL Jeff Pilon is just struggling tonight with all the penalties and just getting beat/pushed around by Kai Ellis. This is not a typical Jeff Pilon. R Romby Bryant is so far is the best player we have in this game. Burris is playing okay but I guess if he's given more time in the pocket, he'll do a lot better. Joffrey Reynolds hasn't been involved in a lot of offensive plays. Stamps need to get him going.
Defense started off slow but they are slowly picking up and tightening up defense. We need more blitzes because Whitlock seems to be struggling trying to pick up who he will block. Need more pass rushes hence we will see a better secondary coverage.
On special team, good kicks by Burke Dales unfortunately it keeps bouncing to the end zone. The last one didn't hurt as the defense stepped up. What the heck is Marcus Howell doing punt return. He is useless!! He needs to run for more than 10 yards punt returning. The only problem is we don't really have any other punt returner other than John Eubanks but I guess Eubanks will do a better job. Please, please Craig Dickerson put someone else on the punt return.
