Are you a student? I am hearing rumors you can get it for about $40.

I ordered mine back when windows 7 was $60. So maybe you can find someone out there that ordered it and doesn't want it anymore.

I am not a student, but $40 seems like quite the steal. I was going to order it when it was cheap, but I procrastinated too much and that's where we are now....

That being said, I've already paid for my hotel, so I'll probably just tough it out.
It's not that bad as long as you don't drive like a maniac. It's a bit curvy , but as long as you go the speed and you're not drunk you should be fine.
But it is a nice scenic drive that would be better taken advantage of during the day.

Has anyone been contacted about being an Olympic torch bearer? I signed up months ago in a couple of draws (coke and rbc) and haven't heard anything yet.

They automatically disqualify Oiler fans, that's why you've heard nothing.

I heard it's because the IOC won't take the torch back and will disqualify the host country if the torch has Edmonton stank on it.

I know a girl in Ottawa who was selected (not sure where she signed up) but she was notified a number of months ago already. Sometime in August, I think.

Hahaha. You know, when I read that, I read "You're a smart GRILL after all." I was confused. And then I got it.

Got Office 2007 pro from M$ for $12. Of course, my license is only legal so long as I remain an employee of my company, but you can't beat the price!

Hilariously, they wanted another $12 for backup media... that or I just burn the msi to a blank DVD.

I'll donate my laptop to be lit on fire in a terrorist attack.

Congratulations GS! You've just set off an alarm at the NSA! Please ignore the black van parked outside your house.

Is that what that van is? I thought it was a parking ticket dispenser.

Actually I'm stalking a bunch of people by proxy. Those black stack vans are contracted by me to stalk people. Think of them a licensed MiniPis

I just got a call from the Herald asking if I'd like to subscribe.

The chick that called sounded really hot. Sounded like she was an Aussie.
