I can't get mad about those injuries because it's so funny to watch. I remember I did it in the demo, Kronwall missing a hit and going face first into the boards. Hilarious.

I can't seem to play a game against a specific friend on my friends list. We can chat, exchange messages and even invite each other to game sessions. But once we accept the challenge, we can't get past the team select screen. We've been trying for 2 days.

Both of us have no problems playing online against randoms and other friends.

We've both rebooted, deleted each other from our lists and then re-added. We even restarted our modems and routers to no avail. We cannot play each other!

Has anyone else on here experienced this problem? I've send the Sony PS3 tech support an e-mail. Solutions??

I'm having the exact same problem. we can play other games like GOW 2 COD etc. but nhl games just dont work

My buddy just got a PS3 recently. After 2 days of trying, no luck. Never had any online issues until I tried to play him.

I assume both of you are playing behind a router. Have you tried port forwarding your routers to make sure your router would connect to EA servers freely.

For the IP address of your PS3 the ports that should be open are UDP 3659 and UDP 6000.

Can I just say Bouwmeester is probably the best defencemen in the game? Hisrating is no where near his actual gameplay...

* We've added the ability to apply boost slots to an authentic helmet so users can get the benefit of the boosts without having to wear a helmet with a design on it.

Really? He's no where near Dion Phaneuf. The most important thing for me in a D-man is checking so Regehr and Phaneuf are so key. Every hit, no matter what is a bone crushing it... I loves it!

I just hate the whole unlocking for things. I just want to keep playing and win and that will increase my potential. I don't want to do challenges or anything.

Yes!

i was really excited for that as well. would be nice if it was all equipment, but helmet is by far the most noticeable. i am hoping they do it right. they better not add boost slots to all helmets. that would kind of defeat the purpose. hopefully they can change the system where instead of unlocking gear, you are unlocking the slots. or, if they took the time to make the unlockable gear authentic, then it wouldn't be a problem.

Oh yeah... he's more fluid to control and so-god-damn-fast for his size, can hit guys effectively, and I can easily go coast-to-coast with him.

Some other highlights that should improve EASHL...

# Added the ability to escape a prefight circle by pressing L2/LB.
# Fixed the bug that made it possible to "shoot" a puck slowly out of the one-handed animation such that nobody could pick it up.
# Improved goalie aggressiveness when poking the puck on cross-crease passes.
# Improved the ability of defencemen are able to do puck pickups behind them to help defend cross-crease passes.
# Reduced accidental interference in front of net.Fixed the bug that makes flip dumps to the middle of the offensive zone go over the glass frequently.
# Fixed the bug that makes CPU center win draws to the the same side all of the time.
# Fixed the bug that makes flip dumps to the middle of the offensive zone go over the glass frequently.
# Prevent accidental saucer passes after receiving the puck while trying to poke check (because both actions are on R1/RT).

I was playing against a player online yesterday and the game went to a shootout. It was my turn to shoot and I go in on the goalie and score. His turn. He pauses the game for about 15 secs and now all I can see is my goalie from all the way down the ice and I can't control him. Needless to say he scores b/c I have no control of my goalie. I am like okay, wtf. So my turn, I go in and score. His turn, his pauses the game again and same thing, camera angle is all the way down the ice and I can't control my goalie. Anyways, he ends up winning b/c of some glitch or was he cheating and punching in some codes to do that?
