After countless hours, I actually found a minor glitch. You go around by the doors which eventually open behind the bumper cars, and stay there until the plane comes, then when it is arriving get on with the other guy. I got on with 1 second left.
Nothing took me longer though then one of the parts on Call of Duty 2. Took me 2 weeks trying to do it. It was going up a starcase, but there are Nazi's in every corner.
Can't wait to beat MW2 on veteran. I should record myself, then go back with a swear counter. Definately be over 10,000.

Oh man that's a great list, those games are the ones I'll definitely buy, but I did not know that Assassin's Creed 2 came out this year, I can't wait to get it.

In COD:MW I beat the part, that you're talking about by going around a corner next to one of the buildings, and just sitting there not being attacked, then like you did, got on the plane with a few seconds left.
Did anyone else feel like the veteran mode on COD5 was just a ridiculous amount of nades? rather than more damage from bullets. I swear, as soon as I walked past certain triggers in the levels, I would instantly be surrounded be 5 nades.

I gave up World at War's veteran. It is stupid how many 'nades would land next to me when I was huddling in a little cove. I said "forget this" and traded it in. It wasn't fun at all. CoD4's was challenging, WaW's was just stupid programming by Treyarch, who I maintain cannot make a good video game.

Yep.
Even on Veteran mode in COD4, there weren't 'nades landing next to you literally every 2 seconds.
There is a strong chance I might even go xbox next console generation for no other reason than I like the control of this game. offset analog sticks and COD go together so well. I'll still pick it up and love it on ps3, but every now and then I think fondly of my time with COD2.
So, I am a COD5 WAW player, who has only ever played World At War. I am wondering how easily my leet skilz will translate to this new game?
Considering CoD:WaW was complete crap, and CoD4 was awesome, it may be difficult. The amount of unbalanced weapons in WaW was crazy, MW is totally different.
MW 2 will blow you away after playing WaW. I traded in WaW I was so pissed at how bad it was, and still play MW1.
If you were like and planning to get it on the PC you should know that IW has changed the way multiplayer works. Most importantly "NO DEDICATED SERVERS". No way I'm getting it now. I'll just rent the console version and play and finish the single player in probably one sitting.
