I'm cooking chicken for lunch, and the package said "Best Before October 12" - but I'm neither going to ask for advice nor pay attention to any that is gratuitously offered in regards to the advisability of chicken consumption.

I certainly suffer from a case of serious man-hair. Fortunately, my girlfriend loves it. Fight manscaping, bring back acceptable male body hair!

How would I go about creating a Franklin Bluth doll to accompany my GOB Bluth costume for Halloween?

A) You're my new hero.

B) Pantyhose and stuffing from the craft store?

I didn't realize I had made a big enough impression on anyone on CP to have someone hate me here. Shawnski must really hate when I talk about poo and sex... because he obviously doesn't have a problem with my opinions or beliefs, as I find myself being a fence-sitter a lot of the time, so nothing outrageous there.

Or maybe that was his cat I accidentally ran over a couple years ago, and his anger has just been brewing.

All this winter tire discussion is making me want to go drive my car around an empty snow-filled parking lot.

I have to attend parent/teacher interviews after work today, not a fan of the high school version, you can't make an appointment you have to stand in line for whatever teacher you need to see, and although it is supposed to be kept short, there is always a parent or two that feels the need to talk for 1/2 hour while this long line forms to see the teacher. They recommend if you have specific issues to make an appointment at another time, but there is always somebody!! End rant.

I thought of this while reading jammies thread on AI, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to derail the discussion.

I don't want to live forever. Do any of you?

Or as they used to call those nights at my house growing up.

The first night of the annual groundings

LOL, Yep I have come home from these things, more than a little ticked off, a few times I have to say. It never fails to amaze me, the things that kids "forget" to tell you.

Maybe I should add to that.

Could you imagine if technology got to the point where we could reverse aging? It'd get to the point where the only way people would die would be from freak accidents, murders, and suicides. I don't want to see my friends and family go down that way.

Not to mention that if the Earth's death rate significantly decreased and the birth rate significantly increased, it wouldn't be long before the world's population was ~20 billion. I have a hard time believing that Earth could support this many people.

Nope, I have almost fully accepted that I may one day die. It gives me the impetus to actually make something of myself.

Besides, in a world of immortals, there would be no children. I don't want to be part of that humanity.

I feel exactly the same.

If I knew right now that I'd live forever, I wouldn't have the motivation to seek out a rewarding job, try to meet new people, or try to find new hobbies. I think I'd be really lazy, and overall just a waste of life (or am I already? Shawnski? )... I'd always have that mindset of "Meh...I do that later. I've got all of eternity, no rush".

The question isn't when I'll die, the question is how many of you b@stards can I take with me.
