Default Worst Way To Wake Up...

... is ON FIRE!

Vancouver police hunt three suspects after napping man lit on fire

Quote:
Police say a 26-year-old New Westminster man was out drinking in the Commercial Drive area when he decided to take a nap on a couch that was sitting outside.

A witness told police that three men stood over the sleeping man and sprayed some sort of fluid on him before lighting him on fire.
Man ended up with only minor burns to his chest and wrist but it could have been a lot worse. Who sees a drunk guy napping, trying to sober up, and decides to light him on fire?!?

Stay classy Vancouver.

Not that it compares to being lit on fire, but waking up (usually around 3am) to cats fighting outdoors sucks.

Hope they find these morons and light them on fire.

Side note, probably the worst way to wake up in the NHL is to find out you were traded to Edmonton

Like the old saying goes:

Build a man a fire and you will keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life.

Nicely done Shawnski... but I would be shocked if a new MGB album was released as the band broke up 8 years ago.

Sounds like something I'd expect Winnipeg to do. Good to see Vancouver is branching out though.

I forgot that Calgary doesn't have it's fair share of idiots. Every city does.

It's just a joke, dude.

Calgary kills people with cars.

Edmonton stabs people.

Winnipeg burns things down.

Vancouver, being the metropolitan city that it is, seems to do all of the above.
